Daily Routine: I work from home three days a week and two days in the office, which is a short 15 minute commute away. I am generally not gone from the house for more than four hours at a time. I love having extra “office assistants” with me while I work!

Our typical household environment is calm and low volume. All four of our pets have affectionate and patient temperaments which makes our home a great option for senior and/or anxious pups. Our weenie dogs Penny and Sadie are the most welcoming, sweetest, and submissive girls who enjoy greeting every new visitor! Penny would be extra excited for a playmate, however both girls have also learned that senior dogs like their space! We have a large, fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run, play, and explore! Fresh water, umbrella shade and cooling mats will be out on hot days.

Important information: Dog(s) must be OK with cats and children. Our 7 year old daughter loves animals and will want to pet, play and interact with your dog during their stay. She is a budding animal enthusiast! Dog(s) MUST have a recent dose of FLEA MEDS and CURRENT on their VACCINES! We want our babies to stay healthy while we care for yours.

Daily Feeding/Potty Schedule: 7a-9a: Out to potty first thing then 1st AM feeding. 11a-3p: Backyard potty break and/or 20 minute walk. 5p-7p: 2nd PM feeding and potty break. 9p-11p: Last potty break before bedtime. We typically walk around our suburban neighborhood at least once a week, and we are often in our backyard with the dogs while they roam around. We play fetch or lounge on the sunny patio while they run and play. I am happy to accommodate as many or few walks as is preferred during the stay. I will do my best to keep your pet on their current daily routine to minimize disruption back at home. Please provide detailed instructions regarding medication dosage and general daily routine at home. Sleeping Arrangements: We have found visiting dogs to feel safest and most comfortable at night in their own crate or bed. However if other sleeping arrangements are preferred, we can likely accommodate.

Hi there, My name is Bethany, and my husband Brandon and I are proud parents of four fur-children and one human child, Bree! 😄 We are a household of animal lovers and would be honored if you chose our home for your dog’s safe-keeping while you are away. You are never alone if the dog is home with you! I find being home alone with dogs and cats to be the most comforting feeling! I would love to spend my time at home loving on the extra doggins around! Recent Experience: Our previous 5 years of pet ownership was essentially senior, special needs and hospice care as our beloved dachshunds, Gracie and Allie, aged. We lost them both in 2022 and during that long process I learned more than I ever wanted to know about spines, kidneys, teeth, and pain management (among many other things) in aging dogs. I have a special place in my heart for seniors and can assure you that your frosty faced baby will be in capable hands. Why I love dog sitting: I grew up on a farm in Missouri helping my family raise cows, chickens, horses and our many dogs. I get my love for animals from my mother, who also grew up on a farm! There were always dogs running around the house like four legged siblings and I loved to help with training our dogs or when an animal on our farm was sick or injured. My boys love Bethany and come back happy! She is the best and I trust her implicitly, she is solid and helps me to not worry when I am away and enjoying time off. It continues to be a pleasure working with her.
Bethany and her family are absolutely the best! My dog is a senior and doesn’t get to hang out with other dogs much. Although he acts like a snob when I drop him off, I believe he secretly likes staying there instead of at home sometimes.
