Bethany was a fantastic carer for our dogs *and* home while we were on holiday. She took excellent care of them, sent lots of fun photos and videos, took them on walks, and overall loved them up as they like to be! Bethany also made a fast friend with our smallest & most challenging dog, which is a huge win. Additionally, she was wonderful with her communication with us and I felt at ease knowing they had her good care and attention. I just know our dogs will look forward to spending time with her again!

I booked 4 nights of dog sitting at my house with Bethany. While she’s a very nice person and may be well suited for dog walking appointments, I won’t be booking her again for overnight dog sitting stays at my house. Unfortunately, Bethany was not forthcoming about her schedule and how often she would be gone. She told me she had a class one night and would be gone for 3 hours. That wasn’t a problem and I wouldn’t expect a dog sitter to be home every hour of the day. However, I have outdoor cameras around my house, which I also disclosed to Bethany, and therefore I know that she was gone for a total of 7 hours the first day and almost 10 hours the second day. On the second day, I offered to have a friend go over to let my dog out to pee and she declined that option and told me that she had stopped at home in San Rafael (10 mins from Corte Madera), but would be on her way soon. Almost 2.5 hours later and being told “she stopped for gas” and then “the traffic was really bad” she finally got back at midnight. I have doubts if she was even planning to come back that night if I hadn’t called and texted her. I received a “daily report” both days about their long walks together. I know that my dog was taken out for 3 x 10 minute walks. If I’d not had cameras at my house, I would have been none the wiser and would have left an equally glowing review as what I’ve seen in Bethany’s profile. This was a really unfortunate experience and I’d encourage Bethany to be transparent and direct about expectations of availability for future clients. I could have worked with her to accommodate her schedule, but instead felt I was being deceived. That’s not a great feeling when you’ve opened your home to someone and trusted them with your dog. Ultimately, I had my friend watch my dog for the remainder of my trip.

Bethany is the best. This is the second time she has stayed at our home with our two Havanese dogs (“the boys”). The first time was for a week, and this time was for two weeks. I was very impressed with Bethany from the time we first met. She has a great way with the boys, and they instantly warmed up to her. On our second trip, the minute they saw Bethany coming, they were so excited and ran to her. It was a great comfort to see how happy they were! We left for both of our trips knowing the boys would be well taken care of, and Bethany regularly sent updates, photos and videos for us. In addition to taking care of the boys, she took great care of the house. We came home to clean sheets and towels, mail all organized, and the house was clean and neat. I can’t say enough good things about Bethany, and she will be my first choice to stay with the boys on our next trip! Beth J

Bethany was amazing! Such a loving petsitter, sending daily updates and really going above and beyond when our flight home was delayed 10 hours. She left the house cleaner than it was when we left, and made sure our bird felt as special as our pup. We will definitely call on Bethany again!

Bethany did a great job taking care of our dog and house while we were away. She seems like a very sweet person, was great with our dog, and was very responsive to communication. Also, she washed her linens and left the house clean before leaving which is much appreciated!

Bethany was the absolute best!! I went into early labor and we needed to hire someone at the very last minute, and she saved the day! She was communicative, flexible and understanding and we can’t wait to hire her again!
