Orcas Island Dog Sitting
Does you dog want a play date? Midnight and Mars would sure love one! Your dog's next home away from home. I've taken care of all types of dogs, from Australian shepherds to Pomeranians. Both Mars and Midnight love when other dogs are around. I work from home so I am always home with the dogs. Your dog will get a lot of play time, snuggles and kisses, frequent walks around the beautiful trails in Olga/the state park, puzzles, and socialization in a safe environment. I also take nice photos that I will send to you 💕

Whenever need a dog sitter on Orcas I’m reaching out to Beth. My Bernedoodle Ellie had a fabulous day with Beth and her dogs, Ellie’s been napping ever since she got in the car to go home. I had bad cell service on the island too and Beth was super responsive, thank you so much for taking care of Ellie and making everything so easy!
Bethany is a wonderful sitter. My Golden Retriever loved boarding with her. She is extremely responsive and sends pictures of your dog having a good time. My dog loved her dogs.
Beth was nothing but amazing from start to finish. We were on the island for my wife's work event and she suggested we get a sitter so my son and I could explore the island dog-free for the day. With less than 24 hours notice we found Beth, she responded immediately and confirmed quickly. She asked all of the right questions so you could tell she really cared. My 12 year old son was worried about leaving the dogs, but Beth sent us text updates and posted pics and videos to a Google folder throughout the day. She took them for multiple walks and a hike. They came home happy and tired...they definitely had their best time on the island with Beth. I can't say enough good things, she was fantastic.
Bethany did an amazing job taking care of June while my husband and I went on a whale watching tour while visiting Orcas Island. She was very responsive for a last minute request and June (who is a 5 month old puppy) has such a wonderful time! We got so many picture updates and felt like she was in such safe and capable hands! Would use Bethany again next time we come back to Orcas!
Beth was so wonderful w/ our pup! She was kind to accommodate last minute request for daycare for our pup & very knowledgeable. She was professional & caring & prompt to reply. So pleased she suggested dogs meeting up before the stay together to ensure good vibes & happy dogs on both sides. Would definitely recommend her services if you need help with your furry friends while you visit the island & we will most definitely request her services in the future.
We were visiting Orcas Island and it was raining so we decided to go tot the spa. We contacted Bethany and she responded immediately. We drove out to her house and she lived in a lovely neighborhood. She was so sweet and we felt relieved to leave our furry child with her. She sent us videos and pics of Teddy. Teddy loved playing with her dogs and so grateful we found her on our trip. We highly recommend Bethany.

Schedule
Any day! I work remotely so I have a lot of flexiblity and I am always home. Weekdays are preferred but open to weekends as well.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in Olga, with a small fenced yard, and a larger unfenced open grass area. Inside there is a lot of play areas for the dogs. I am almost always home (I work remote) and when I am not, I will crate them for a short period of time to run an errand. We are minutes from amazing trails and the beautiful state park.
Pets
A typical day
I have many healthy treats. I can help train leave it, stay, lay down, place, and more if requested. I hope both my dogs and yours will get along and enjoy each other's company. I have multiple puzzles.
