Intuitive & Avid Dog Walker
I've cared for everything from grandpa's aged Shih Tzus to handling sled dog lots in Alaska. I have experience and enjoy the routine of obedience and behavior training, as that is often reassuring to animals when their humans are away. That said, I aim for my care to emulate the routines your pets are familiar with and love some low key couch snuggles and understand how to read boundaries. I believe the best place for a dog to be is outside. I work with dogs both on and off leash, based on owner consent and once your pet and I have established trust in safe/approved spaces. I have a particular knack for engaging with the world at their pace and know what it is to come up alongside your pets with reassuring presence based on their comfort zone and care languages.

I'm mostly reading and this tends to draw me toward the same sort of sunpatches as cats and dogs. I like to go outside and stretch regularly and that's always more fun with 4 legged company anyway! I follow your word on feeding and have experience administering both oral and intra-muscular meds. I adjust to the dog's pace so, if a magic pie bush requires a thorough sniffing or there is a mouse hole to be patrolled, I'm game. And always armed with poop bags because, yech, come on folks!

Bethany is awesome!! Very knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable having her care for our dogs. She has great communication, has been very flexible, and has a ton of experience with various types of dogs. Our puppy is in training and Bethany has been a huge help with that as well. Great experience! Bethany went above and beyond with our dog Kai (even let her pick out a bone at the local pet store!). She was quick to pick up on all the information we gave her and was great at communicating with us on how the walks went! It was a smooth process and we’d definitely book again!
