I have extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats of a variety of ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities. I especially welcome families looking for a consistent walker or sitter their pets can get to know and trust over time. I am comfortable walking both large and small dogs and adjusting each visit to the individual pet. Some dogs enjoy a brisk walk and lots of exercise, while others prefer a slower pace with plenty of time to sniff and explore. I’ve also spent a lot of time training my own dog and learning about canine behavior and body language. For cats, I have cared for them since childhood and have experience with a wide range of personalities. I understand that some cats are social and affectionate while others need more space, and I allow each cat to interact with me at their own comfort level.

During each visit, I make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, fed, hydrated, and given plenty of attention. For dogs, I can provide walks around your neighborhood, potty breaks, playtime, and exercise tailored to their energy level. I also provide updates so you know how your pet is doing.

Bethany took great care of Bear and was great working with my schedule last minute!
I was so worried about leaving my sweet girl alone, but she hates being boarded at the vet, so I took a chance. Bethany did a great job, even after a very challenging first night. When we got home, Mollie was as happy as could be. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Bethany again.

Schedule
I am a college professor in Maryville with a predictable and fairly flexible schedule. I especially welcome requests for recurring weekday dog walks and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. I enjoy working with families who need consistent, long-term pet care and will gladly become a regular part of your pet’s routine. I am also happy to help with occasional weekends and travel needs!
