I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves everyone to keep your dog(s) company, and may have another visitor or two. For safety, I separate dogs for feeding and if we’re out of the house, although it’s rare that no one is home. I can provide a large crate for your dog to use while visiting, and your dog must be able to be crated if no one is home. My fence is 39” tall, so I can’t keep dogs who jump fences. Guests also need to like other dogs and people, including children.

Let me know if your dog has any allergies or other special needs. Guests in our home must get along with other dogs, like people, and not jump fences. They must also be up to date on flea & tick prevention and the following vaccines: rabies, distemper, parvo, bordatella, and canine influenza. If your dog is not a good fit for boarding, I offer drop in visits and walks instead.
A typical day
Visitors at our home spend most of their time playing outside, as long as the weather is good. I can accommodate high energy dogs who like to play with each other and enjoy endless rounds of fetch (in my fenced in yard)! I also care for couch potatoes who would rather lounge in the sun on the deck or inside. My fence is 39” tall so I can’t board dogs who jump fences or gates.

Pet care experience
I have a lifetime of experience with pet care, starting with helping my mom run an in-home boarding business when I was growing up. I have a large fenced yard and do boarding, walks, bathing, light grooming, and more. I am comfortable giving meds, preparing special diets, and caring for puppies as well as seniors. I used to train and show dogs as well (pre kids, ha!). I can help get your puppy off on the right foot with house training, and baths are my specialty!

Bethany really took care of Rocco. He usually has a hard time eating when away from home, however that wasn’t the case this time. She was very patient with him and we really appreciate that!
Amazing as always.
I have a 60 pound 3 year old labradoodle who oozes with energy. I have to admit that I am a hands on dog mom who is rarely satisfied by other caretakers. I have considered River but for three years didn’t trust the system and was afraid to use it. I don’t know the caregivers and they don’t know me. I wanted to ensure my dog was in a calm, clean and happy environment. Well Bethany was recommended and she did not disappoint. Her home was perfect. It met all of my needs. I even felt like I wanted to take a nap there. A peaceful perfect place. She gave my dog top shelf accommodations. Unlike other boarding places he wasn’t under exercised and greeted me calmly. I could tell that all of his needs were met. Bethany and her family are sweet and kind and I can tell they all loved having my baby with them. I will definitely use her services again.
