I’m a retired, veterinary assistant. I have five years of experience in the veterinary field. I often house sat for my veterinarians when they were gone. I watched their three dogs, fed, watered, and offered playtime with them as well. I’ve always had a love for animals. I would like to continue my care for animals in a different way. Working in vet med gives me a skill set to work with dogs of all ages and sizes. I am able to administer medicines to pets, make sure they maintain their feeding schedules, and provide an overall happy experience for both you and your pet.

My personal pets at home are always taken care of. Maintaining food and water conditions, I also play with my dog multiple days a week. I always treat other people’s pets as if they were my own. I also teach basic commands, such as sit, down, stay, place, and off. If you were working on training your dog, I am happy to maintain structure for your pet. I will also provide bathing and nail trims if requested.

Bethanie is fantastic. She has a way with all animals. She has cared for our fur babies for the last 8 years. She is gentle, calm and extremely loving. Our 2 boys just love her. She has an excellent background. One of our dogs has a seizure disorder, and Bethanie cares for him without any problems. Truly a worry free experience when we have her caring for the boys.

Schedule
I currently am working part-time so I am able to work with flexible schedules. I would be available before or after my shifts. I would love to work with you and your pet.

- Please let me know if your pet has a specific feeding schedule and any special instructions for your pet’s meals. Please provide medication instructions as well as times the medications should be given. If your pet is stressed by baths, please let me know ahead of time.
