Hi! Vet student here eager to help!
I am a second year vet student and work with animals constantly in university, and own dogs, a cat and a reptile myself. Over the past couple of years I’ve spent my summers and holidays volunteering with all sorts of different animals.

Beth was very responsive, polite and a very considerate sitter. She was very understanding of my dog's nervous disposition and completely unphased by the "panic wees" our dog did as we were trying to leave the house. Our dog settled quickly with her and there were photos of them together happily within an hour or so. She was respectful of our house and preferences; even getting up at 4am with no complaint to keep our dog fed (Sorry again!). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Beth to housesit and am already hoping to book her in again. 🥰 Thank you!

Schedule
I have 2-3 lectures each day after lunch other than a wednesday, and work saturday mornings but other than that I am home. I make sure to never leave a dog unattended for more than 3/4 hours absolute max.

Safety, trust & environment
I very commonly deal with dogs that are unfamiliar to me so prioritise building trust and ensuring they’re comfortable with me. I live in a semi detached house with a fully fenced garden and a big field next door, with one other vet student and a biology student. We are all very chilled out and huge animal lovers!
A typical day
I love going on long walks and playing fun games with the dogs, but I am also perfectly fine to just chill with them and keep them company if that suits them better.
