Beth can care for
Availability
I make time for your animals as they need it! I work part time, which allows plenty of time for walks, playing fetch, cuddle sessions, and on-time meals. If temperament allows, I’ll take your pup with me to dog-friendly spots in town and along longer walking paths and trails.

Safety, trust & environment
I'm new to California and settling in the area. I'm excited to explore different neighborhoods, meet cool people, and spend time with your furry friends. If I’m staying in your home, I’m in your best friend’s space. Whatever they’re used to, is what they’ll get, whether that’s permission (or not) to get on furniture, sleep with me in bed, and set our walking schedule.
Information Beth W. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet has any special needs related to food and medicine, scheduling requirements, behavior toward other dogs, manageable bad habits (like sock stealing), leash behavior, etc. The more information you can share, the better care I can provide!
A typical day
Whatever your pets' favorite! I love to play fetch or tug with those who love it, enjoy long walks, cuddle sessions on the couch, and offering enriching puzzles for food-motivated smarty pups. I’ve cared for pups who embody “ball is life” and request fetch at every opportunity as well as lazy homebodies who require gentle coaxing to get out of bed in the morning. I’m adaptable!

Responsible & caring animal lover!
Pet care experience
I've fostered dogs in my home and cared for dogs and cats in other people's homes and am excited to do more of both! I got into housesitting several months ago and love getting to spend focused time and attention on animals while their people are away. While fostering dogs, I worked on light training - improving walking manners, comfort with strangers, and basic commands. I cared for my dogs for a few weeks to several months until they were adopted and loved getting updates from their new families about their progress.
Reviews
Beth is an excellent and trustworthy caretaker and has many years of experience taking care of many different pets from many different types of homes. She’s also fostered many pets and understands how to care for pets with special needs. You will be in great hands with Beth and won’t have to worry about a thing.
Beth has been a wonderful caregiver for our aging lab. She is attentive and loving and can read your pet's moods and needs! She also takes great care and respect for our home, leaving it pristine. I wholeheartedly recommend Beth!
Beth is an excellent pet caregiver! I lived with Beth when she cared for foster dogs, showing them care and patience as they transitioned to a new home and environment. Beth also card for our neighbor's elderly dachshund, who was mostly blind and suffered from severe separation anxiety. Beth made sure the pup was taken care of and made comfortable while away from home. Beth is reliable, conscientious, responsible, and loves animals!
