We drop in for exotics and can host some exotics! Contact me for more info! We will provide free range of our home (unless the individual needs otherwise) and lots of time to just hang out or run and play with our dogs. We have raised multiple dogs from puppyhood to sporting and therapy work dogs, and I have been trained in both trust centered training and other training methods. Our home is their home when they stay with us. We have a dog door that we are happy to train and that is accessible to the fenced yard when we are home. We have experience with geriatric dogs as well as high energy breeds (especially terriers and herding breeds) and raw feeding. Our kids are all adults and have been raised with dogs. We require an in person meet and greet before accepting any booking. Drop off and pick up times are 7-9am and 4-7pm during the week and 8am-7pm on weekends. Lottie is our Border Collie. She was born in early May 2020 and is super sweet and friendly! Lottie loves every dog and person she meets. Sometimes she is a bit over exuberant but we are working on it.

Beth was great with our two dogs!
Beth was great. Kept us informed and was easy to work/coordinate with. My dogs came home happy and exhausted from playing with their new doggie friends that live with Beth. We will happily use her again in the future.

Beth and her family were great with our dog. He is anxious around people and they introduced him slow and let him take his time acclimating. He had no problem getting comfortable there and with in the first day he was no longer anxious. She updated me daily and sent pictures and videos. We will definitely be using her in the future.
My dog Apollo loved his time at Beth's house. He was able to spend a lot of time playing in her fenced backyard, which is his favorite things to do, and Beth kept me updated regularly with pictures of him playing. We would definitely book with Beth again in the future.

Schedule
We are a working household (although only two days a week are we fully gone). Depending on the day dogs may be home for 4-6 hours while we are working away from the house. However, our schedules are variable and could be work from home to in office. We also have college aged children living in the home whose schedule is variable.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard and friendly pups to provide guidance and keep your dog company. I prefer crate trained dogs for their safety especially at night or when we are not home. I am experienced with exotics (rodents & reptiles specifically but am happy to learn)! I am familiar with birds and fish so can handle the basics there too.
Pets
A typical day
We love to spend time playing in the yard together, running, playing fetch or tug or just lounging around the house relaxing. Pretty much we let your dog take the lead.
