Beth's Bed and Barkfest
My French Bulldog, Bastien, and I would love to be your dog’s home away from home! It can be scary to leave your pet with a virtual stranger, but I have been looking after dogs on Rover for almost 8 years and really strive to provide a home that any anxious pet parent would feel comfortable leaving their beloved pet in! I always try to treat your fur-baby how I would want mine treated - with patience, love, attention and lots of snuggles. I live in a great, dog-friendly neighborhood with lots of green space, plenty of furry friends to interact with, and a few dog parks within walking distance (if your dog rolls that way and weather permits). My building is fully accessible with an elevator, if stairs are an issue. We also have a selection of beds, toys, chews, and a crate to share. Your pet's vacay will include long walks, lots of attention and love, plenty of play, and pics for you of all the fun they are having or all the relaxing they are doing in daily update messages. I have extensive experience with brachy breeds, somewhat stubborn dogs, and pets with special needs (rescues and seniors or other conditions requiring medication). I also have experience with vertically-challenged dogs (they don't know they are small).

Beth was fantastic!!! I’m a hover mom when it comes to my dog, Oakley, so I get very anxious leaving him. Beth took such great care of him, and sent me updates and photos every single day. I also had some major flight delays coming home, and she was so understanding and flexible. I’ll definitely use Beth again, and highly recommend her to anyone looking for great care for their fur babies!

I have a full time position where I occasionally have to go into the office, but am able to plan that around your pet’s stay so I am able give them the most attention possible. Current hours for daycare: Drop-off: between 8 am-10 am Pick-up: no later than 7:00 pm *drop off or pick up outside these time ranges may incur an additional fee

Safety, trust & environment
I specialize in boarding with occasional availability for day care, and only take one client at a time. I always try to follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible so the more details you can provide, the better. Please provide a brief overview of their daily schedule of walks, meals, etc. and I will try to follow it. My building has a secure entrance with video-monitoring. There are at least four doors between my home and outside, in case your dog is an escape artist. I look forward to learning more about your dog!

A typical day
We have a variety of toys. My dog loves to play ball, chase, and tug of war. We go on long walks around the neighborhood so they can smell all the smells. There is a wonderful dog park about three blocks away, if that is something your dog is ok with.
