A Second Home
While growing up, we (Beth's family) had a dog named Ginger--she won an "Ugly Dog Contest" once, but we thought she was beautiful. When we were newly married, we raised a puppy (Murphy--a wonderful mutt), but we are just now exploring the joy of really working with a dog, patiently training them to respond to you in gentle, joyful ways. We're happy to give your dog a safe, interactive place to stay when you need to be away.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a good amount of outdoor space (1/2 acre), but it's not fenced, so any outdoor time will need to be supervised. We can usually offer daily walks if your dog is interested in that kind of adventure. We'll follow your feeding instructions to the best of our ability and give plenty of friendly affection. We live kind of close to a busy road, so if your dog LOVES to chase cars, this could be a problem. We also have chickens, so we'd want your pet to coexist peacefully with them.

Beth and Stephen did such a wonderful job caring for my dog with separation anxiety. They made sure that his routines and training from home were enforced and sent over pictures and updates throughout the stay. My dog was sad to leave, and I would definitely use their services again!

Schedule
I'm working part time and can be available on a pretty flexible schedule. Weekends are usually open, and most weekdays. I do go out of town for a week every 2 months or so, so those times will be unavailable.
