I have been a dog lover as far back as I can remember, even staging a campaign for my parents to get our family our first dog. My husband's cats have turned me into a cat lover as well, and I appreciate the aspects that make the species unique, but really enjoy caring for both cats and dogs. I am looking to help folks in need of high-quality care. I have taken care of my friend's and families' pets for many years, including sitting, walking, and feeding. I am a puppies and kitties foster with Lucky Dog Rescue, and have cared for 28 animals through that experience. I have a kitten, 2 adult cats and a 2.5 year old energetic dog who would love to run with your dog, and is great with cats. I also have a great fenced in yard, I live near hiking trails (paved and unpaved), and I love going for walks.

Beth was great with Mishka while I was away for a few days. We did a meet and greet first and Mishka took to the big fenced yard right away. Easy drop off and pickup and would certainly ask Beth to board him again.
Beth is a kind and loving person who will take great care of any pet she is watching/sitting! She has had experience raising and taking care of her own pets including dogs and cats! She loves and understands animals, and you can be assured that your pet will be in good hands with her!
Beth is an amazing caregiver to all of her pets and her amazing one year old. As long as I've known Beth she's had a dog in her life and has cared for dogs for over 30 years. I know she will make your pet incredibly comfortable in her home and take care of it as if it were her own. She works from home so has the ability to care for your dog all hours of the day and has plenty of sidewalks, nature trails, and a fenced yard to get your dog plenty of exercise while it is staying with her. Definitely book Beth, you will not be disappointed!
Beth is very experienced with dogs big and small, young and old, of all energy levels! We trust her completely with our chocolate labradoodle, who adores her. Beth is very ready to meet a dog wherever they are—whether it be long walks for young, energetic dogs or special instructions for a pup with special needs. You will not find anyone more loving or reliable!

Schedule
I work from home 4 days of the work week, and commute to DC for the 5th. I am a federal employee. I will be able to let your dog out in my fenced-in backyard many times throughout the day, and can also take them for at least one long walk a day, depending on your preferences.

My husband and I care for our 3 cats and dog, but I have space and time to do more. I have administered all kinds of medication to cats and dogs, as well as food, and can follow your directions and preferences on those components of pet care as well. ***Please note, at this time I am only boarding dogs that live with cats.

A typical day
My neighborhood has great sights and smells to explore, with plenty of sidewalks, but I am also located near many wooded trails and parks where I love to take dogs for long walks.
