My schedule is flexible, allowing me to spend plenty of time in your home with your pets throughout the day. I can maintain their normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, bedtime, medications, companionship, and plenty of love and attention. Because I provide care in your home, your pets can remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings while I also keep an eye on the house, collect mail and packages, water plants, and handle other agreed-upon household needs. I will communicate regularly and provide photos and updates so you can feel confident that both your pets and your home are being well cared for while you are away.

I care for pets in the comfort and familiarity of their own home, where they can maintain their normal routines and feel safe while their family is away. I carefully follow all instructions for your pet's care and your home. Safety is always a priority. I make sure doors, gates, leashes, and outdoor areas are secure, and I never allow pets outside unattended unless specifically instructed. I am attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, or health and will communicate promptly if I notice anything unusual. Emergency instructions and veterinary information will be kept readily available throughout the day. I also treat each client’s home with the same care and respect I would give my own. I will follow your access, security, alarm, and household instructions carefully and keep the home tidy and secure while you are away.

Before confirming a booking, I request a brief Zoom or Google Meet appointment so we can meet face-to-face, discuss your pets and home, and make sure the arrangement feels comfortable for everyone. Because I split my time between my homes in Texas and California, I may be traveling from out of state for the stay, so clear communication and complete information ahead of time are especially important. Please share: • Your pets’ feeding, walking, medication, and sleeping routines • Allergies, health conditions, mobility concerns, or special needs • How long each pet can comfortably be left alone • Separation anxiety, fears, triggers, or escape tendencies • Any history of aggression, biting, resource guarding, indoor marking, excessive barking, or destructive behavior • Veterinary and emergency-contact information • Home-access, alarm, parking, and security instructions • The location of pet supplies and household necessities • Any indoor or outdoor cameras on the property I evaluate pets based on their individual behavior, temperament, and care requirements rather than breed. Honest and thorough information allows me to provide the safest and most comfortable experience possible for both your pets and your home while giving you peace of mind during your trip.
A typical day
A typical day will be based around your pet’s normal routine so they feel as comfortable and secure as possible while you are away. I will follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, bathroom breaks, sleeping arrangements, and any favorite activities. Dogs can enjoy walks around their familiar neighborhood, bathroom breaks, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of companionship and attention. For cats and other pets, I will provide care based on their individual personalities and preferences, whether that means interactive play, quiet company, or simply giving them space while making sure all their needs are met. I am happy to accommodate your pet’s usual sleeping arrangement, whether they sleep in their own bed, a crate, or with a person. My goal is to keep their days calm, familiar, and enjoyable while maintaining the routines they are accustomed to until you return.

I am a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. I have a natural connection with animals and understand that every pet has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level, and I will treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. Personalized, Exclusive Care: I only accept one household at a time, so your pets will receive personalized, exclusive care rather than competing for attention with animals from multiple families. I will follow their normal feeding, walking, sleeping, medication, and household routines as closely as possible. Plus, you will receive regular photos and updates so you can enjoy your trip knowing your pets are happy and well cared for. My comprehensive house-sitting service can also include dog walking, plant care, collecting mail and packages, managing trash days, and keeping your home tidy, occupied, and secure. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind so you can enjoy your trip without worrying about what is happening back home. Prior to now, I have mainly offered boarding in my home, but now that my kids are grown, I have the freedom to travel and offer my pet and house-sitting services with wider flexibility. I offer in-home pet care and house-sitting throughout Southern California, from Malibu to Oceanside, and am open to other locations nationwide and internationally. My minimum stay is one week, and longer-term stays are welcomed. Rates for extended stays may be arranged based on the length of the booking and level of care required. You can expect frequent photos and updates so you always know how your pets are doing. I am comfortable administering medications and accommodating special instructions, senior pets, individual routines, and other household needs. As a homeowner with my own investment property and property-management experience, I also understand the importance of respectfully caring for someone else’s home. Beth was awesome! We needed someone to watch our two golden retrievers over the New Years holiday (7days). Beth was good with communication and easy to set up meeting times. Beth and the rest of the family were very welcoming of our dogs and gave them excellent care and attention. Lots of attention. She sent us some good pictures of the dogs who were enjoying their vacation while we were enjoying ours. She has a house and fenced yard which works better for 2 large dogs. I was very comfortable leaving my dogs in her care and I wasn’t disappointed - she was exactly the dog sitter that I was searching for.
Beth is the best !!! Oh my gosh !!! No one use her cause she is mine, all mine!!!! My wife and I did a meet and greet and then a full day. We will do an over night next week as we prepare Lucy for two weeks away from home. Beth is super attentive, we could not dream of a better place or person for our Lucy to be with.
