I have a flexible 9-5 work schedule and can pop in to visit pets in the Eastlake neighborhood Tuesday-Fridays. My weekends are also quite flexible to visit pets or stay overnight with pets in North Capitol Hill.

I closely follow the rules and guidelines set up by the pet owners when I care for an animal. The safety and comfort of the pet is my utmost concern. I love animals and I want them to feel that they are in the care of a trustworthy person while their people are away. I am happy to communicate with pet owners and much as needed.

We'll have fun checking pee mail around the neighborhood and seeing all the sites on our walks--birds, squirrels, grass. I provide exceptional pets and belly rubs.

Sitter for cats, dog, rabbits!

I've been watching friends and neighbors pets casually for the past 5 years or so. This includes dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish. I have the most experience with cats--feeding them medicine, special foods, scooping liter boxes of all shapes and sizes, and dialing in on their favorite toys. I have experience caring for dogs (walks, feeding, belly rubs, poop wrangling) but if the dog is high stress or has behavioral issues it would be best to go with a more experienced dog person--want to be transparent about that, it's best for everyone.

Beth has housesit for our small homestead multiple times which includes taking care of our cats, bunny, sheep, and chickens, as well as the garden in the summertime. She did a great job and all our animals were well cared for, the garden well tended, and house kept tidy. She is thoughtful and responsible and I would highly recommend her as a house/pet sitter!
Beth is a responsible, tender, trustworthy petsitter. She has watched my dear, old, special needs dog numerous time, and she does a wonderful job each time. Once, she was watching my dog during a crazy heat wave, and she made sure to keep her cool, bringing her to the basement and making sure she was hydrated and happy. (She also kept plants in my garden alive during that heatwave!) I know the decision on who to trust with your pet is a ginormous one, and I would not hesitate to trust Beth. I can't recommend her highly enough!
Beth has watched my now 16 year old dog many, many times over the years, sometimes for a short time and sometimes for 2 weeks. I couldn't wish for a better dog sitter, she is so loving, caring and a great dog walker! My dog is always excited to see her. Unlike other dogsitters I have had before, she did not teach my dog "new tricks" like sitting on the couch or begging for food when eating at the table , which I don't allow when I'm with my dog. I couldn't be happier with her!
