Huge animal lover!
I love animals, I am CPR certified, and I will care for your pets just as you would! I have an animal health degree and worked in emergency medicine and with exotics. I have trained my own dogs and others for 30 years. I currently live with a Bernese Mountain Dog. All of my fur kids have gotten along well together. What sets me apart from other pet sitters is I make sure each animal is seen daily, visually, kitties like to hide, and I look at their over all health to make sure there are no problems. I have saved the lives of two kitties in my career making daily, visual eye contact. I have a way with animals, we speak the same language. LOL NOTE: Plan to drop of at 7am; pickups no later than 9pm, otherwise I will charge another night stay. Unfortunately, some have taken advantage of my good nature and I must be vigilant. I love to spend time socializing with them and taking them out for walks. I’m lucky in that my older dog is very neutral and I have a puppy! Puppies get along with all dogs! I have an almost 1/4 acre fenced yard. Your pet will be very safe here. I provide lots of fresh water. I will follow the rules of your home, that is important to your pet in your absence….they need to follow their established routine. It makes them feel secure and safe. Please bring their special toy or blanket (smells from home), food and their food bowl. It really makes all the difference to them!

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Beth. Kaia is an incredibly shy dog who has been afraid of unfamiliar dogs ever since she was attacked at a young age. Because of that, I have always been afraid to leave her in the care of someone who wasn’t staying in my home. This was the first time I felt completely comfortable doing that, and Beth gave me something I desperately needed this past week: peace of mind. Not just knowing that Kaia wasn’t alone, but knowing she was being given the same care and attention that I give her. Beth was so patient with Kaia, respected her boundaries, and let her get comfortable at her own pace. The daily pictures and videos meant so much to me because I never had to wonder how she was doing. But more than anything, I could see that Kaia was genuinely happy and coming out of her shell a little more each day. I was in Nashville helping my dad recover from spine surgery, and for the first time ever, I was able to be fully present with my family because I wasn’t worried about Kaia. I knew she was safe, loved, and in incredibly good hands. And the part that made me emotional was that Kaia actually made friends. When I picked her up, she was so excited to see me, but once we got home, she actually seemed to miss her playmates. That is something I have never experienced with her before. You can tell right away that Beth cares for every dog as thoughtfully as she cares for her own, and THAT is something harder to find than I ever thought it would be. If you have a shy, nervous, or particular dog, I cannot recommend her enough. She didn’t just take care of Kaia—she gave her the confidence to enjoy being around other dogs, and she gave me the confidence to know that with continued patience and care, I don’t have to be quite so worried every time we come across an unfamiliar dog.
My boy loves going to visit Beth! It’s his vacation with friends. I’m so comfortable knowing that Beth keeps his routine consistent and showers him in love. My dog is pretty needy and it’s apparent that Beth understands him. He gets lots of exercise and attention and Beth makes it easy to focus on my trip without worrying about my boy. Thank you so much!

Beth was absolutely amazing! She knew that I was a nervous dog dad dropping our pooch off with a stranger. She sent tons of pictures and videos, as well as being in regular contact by text. I can’t recommend her enough!
Beth was wonderful and took great care of our two GSD.

Schedule
I have plenty of time during the day to play with your pets. The evenings are for movies and snuggles on the sofa! I will follow whatever rules you have established.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced yard so your pet(s) will feel safe here. If you want your pet crated that’s super easy. I ask that you bring your crate because your dog will feel more comfortable with the smells from home.

A typical day
I can train tricks. I have trained all of my dogs how to be therapy dogs. They also know how to draft, this is a sport where they pull carts and earn various titles. I like to teach basic commands for obedience.

- I would like to know if your pet gets along with other dogs. Breed is not relevant to me. My animals get along with all dogs and cats. Also, if your dog is food or toy friendly. If your dog has food reactivity, just tell me so I can plan for that. I don’t want to be surprised and it’s a safety risk. Thank you!
