When caring for a cat in their own home, I follow the owner’s instructions carefully and maintain the cat’s usual feeding, cleaning, play, and resting routines. I pay close attention when entering and leaving the home and always check that doors, windows, and balconies are secure. I never force interaction. Instead, I observe the cat’s body language and allow them to approach me at their own pace. During each visit, I monitor their appetite, water intake, litter-box use, behaviour, and general condition. If I notice anything unusual, I will contact you promptly and prioritise your cat’s safety and welfare. I also send regular photos, videos, and updates, so you always know how your cat is doing while you are away. I treat both your pet and your home respectfully and leave everything clean, secure, and in the condition in which I found it.

Başak is a wonderful cat mum and one of the few people I know who has always naturally attracted animals. Over the years, she has looked after the cats of friends and family whenever they needed help, including mine and my parents'. It has become almost normal to visit her and discover a new furry guest that she is fostering for a few days or giving a temporary home after a rescue. Perhaps thanks to her experience as a scientist studying animal behaviour, she really understands how to interact with animals and keep them mentally engaged. I've even seen her teaching cats new tricks, something I wouldn't have believed possible if I hadn't seen it myself. The best proof of how well she cares for animals is how they react to her. Whenever she leaves, they genuinely seem reluctant to let her go. I would trust Başak with any of my pets without hesitation, and I'm confident she would provide both loving care and an excellent experience for any pet owner.

Schedule
As a PhD researcher, I have a flexible schedule and can arrange cat visits around my daily research work. I am generally available on both weekdays and weekends, with morning, afternoon, or evening visits possible depending on the day. I plan my bookings carefully so that I can spend proper time with each cat rather than rushing through basic tasks.
