Hola! Hello! Bonjour! I've been around animals my whole life. My brother constantly brought home strays and rescues — dogs, cats, iguanas, ferrets, anything he could find. My mom, ironically a certified vet assistant, developed allergies, so we became caretakers. I've looked after everything from Chihuahuas and Great Danes to Tabbies and the oh-so-lovable marmalade cats. My best friend's Pomeranian Daisy hated everyone. She would hear the door, run under a chair and bark non-stop. A few visits in, she got excited to see me and would come running to the door mid-bark. I never force contact. I let each animal set the pace and give them their space if that's what they need, adapting to them rather than the other way around. I also cared for Ölva, a blind and deaf senior dog with dementia, for a year. I always ensured staying hyper-aware that she wasn't always aware of what was happening around her, and made sure she always felt safe. I speak English, Spanish, and French.
