Availability
I work from home primarily. Occasionally I will need to show my face at the office but this is rare. I will always be open and honest with all potential clients when booking so that your pet is cared for exactly as you wish. If you don't see your required availability please do contact me for a discussion to see if I can rework my diary. I have only stipulated days I am always available.

Safety, trust & environment
I live alone in the countryside with a large fenced garden alongside open fields and designated footpath walks along the River Wye. Your pet/s will be given free roam of my home, with no restrictions unless you would prefer me to instill "at home rules". Sadly, I don't have a dog of my own any longer - so yours will be my priority and I am free to continue any training patterns without disruption and dedicate my time to your darling dog/s. I am a confident experienced dog owner and love to walk - I walk A LOT - it seems silly not to be taking a pampered 4 legged friend with me :) All mud and gunk removed before returning to rightful owner!!

Information Bernie E. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of any special requirements etc. Meet and greets are very welcome - I can come to you or you are welcome in my home with your pet to familiarise yourselves before committing to any booking.
A typical day
I will take your lead (pardon the pun) when planning our days. Some won't want to walk as much as I do!! Our days will be spent in the garden, weather dependent, usually barking at pigeons and pheasants, before and after a long walk along the river and up into the woods. If the weather is all too British then we can snuggle down on the sofas and relax!

Pet care experience
Until now, in 57 years, I have never known a time in my life without a dog to care for. Now is the time to give my time to yours whenever needed.
Reviews

Izzy had obviously had a wonderful time. Long walks, cuddles and top notch care. A massive thank you to Bernie for looking after Izzy so well.

Our dog had a three day stay with Bernie. When we collected him he was happy and relaxed. Communication from Bernie was clear and helpful before and during the stay. All much appreciated - we'll be back!

Billie had a wonderful time, she made new friends both dog and human!! Until next time ...

As always, Beckett came home after his stay with Bernie a very happy pup! Thanks again for taking such good care of him!
