Hello! I have been rescuing animals for as long as I can remember. My husband and I officially started fostering about 16 years ago. We have fostered for several great rescues. To name a couple of them being the Nationally known Beagle Freedom Project and the local to New Orleans, ARNO.

I've got a very loving but headstrong pit bull. She's middle aged and starting to develop some hind leg issues like stiffness and shaking so I called Bernadette to see if she could help ease some of the tension in my pup's body. My dog was fidgety and uninterested at first but after fifteen minutes she was putty in the hands of Bernadette. My dog is now extremely relaxed and sound asleep. I'm going to get my pup a massage once a month from now on to keep her joints relaxed and moving the way they should. All dog owners know when their pup is happy. Mine is in pure bliss right now.

Programa
Right now, we are home 24/7 as long as our schedule says we are. Our dedication is solely on the fur babies and our tortoise. ;)

I am also a Certified Therapeutic Canine Massage Therapist with extensive work in Sports and Senior Care. We have a 15 year old Beagle, Dodger, and a 5 year old Black Mouth Curr Mix, Mattie, a Rottie Mix, Winston, and an African Sulcata Tortoise that are the loves of our lives.

We usually take a walk to the Greenway, around the Bayou, back up through and around the beautiful neighborhoods. When we are confined to the house due to heat, or rain, we have a large fenced in yard with a covered patio. We also have a doggie pool and like to enjoy plenty of enrichment like lick mats and stuffies.
