Information Bernadette D. would like to know about your pet
We have many different beds, bowls, and safe chew toys available for our guest dogs, so no need to bring yours from home. Please advise if there are any special needs or fears such as vacuum cleaners, so we may provide the ultimate comfortable experience with no scary surprises. We keep 7am to 7pm as drop off and pick up times. So if your flight is at 7am please book the evening prior so we may keep the other guest dogs comfortable with no interruptions during their and my family's quiet hours. Many thanks for your consideration to this requirement. Also, if you would be so kind as to send me a screen shot of your most recent vet shot records I would appreciate being able to tell the other pet parents, every kid here is up to date on their shots. I sincerely look forward to giving your baby the best care ever! :)
A typical day
We recently purchased the home next door so we have added a huge yard with a gate to allow grassy playtime when it is too cold for swimming. The dogs love having a place to play "grab-ass" or fetch the ball and let's face it, it's also more comfortable for bathroom duty than the rocks around the pool. :) We provide supervised swim sessions weather permitting, as well as short morning walks if your pet is accustomed to enjoying a little cardio. Otherwise fetching balls is our go to form of exercise. (pre meal eating only). I also send videos so if the Rover app says I don't send photos it is because you receive high resolution videos instead and then are able to see personally just how much fun they are having at their very own "Weekend at Bernie's" :)

We have extensive knowledge of and love for all animals, but dogs have been my family passion the last 45 years. We facilitate positive reinforcement first and corrective attention as a back-up plan only. Belly rubs and healthy carrot and apple snacks are the reward of choice.
