I’m a board-certified veterinary technician with 6+ years of experience working with dogs in both veterinary and behavioral settings, and I’m Fear Free certified. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, including puppies, senior dogs, and pets with medical needs, and I have experience administering oral and injectable medications. I also have experience working with anxious and fearful dogs using calm, patient handling techniques to help them feel safe and at ease. I really enjoy getting to know each dog's personality and making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and well looked after while you’re away!

When I’m in your home, I will try my best to keep things as normal as possible for your fur babies. I will follow whatever routine you already have in place like feeding times, walks, medications, so your pet isn’t thrown off while you’re gone. I’m very careful about safety like doors, leashes, pools, and making sure nothing they shouldn’t get into is around. Being a vet tech, I really pay attention to little changes in behavior or health and will always let you know if anything seems wrong. My goal is to keep your pets comfortable, safe, and happy!

Berkley is an amazing dog sitter! She took incredible care of our pups and sent me constant pics and videos so I never had to wonder how they were doing. She was super patient with our highly anxious dog and even got him to trust her enough to walk him. She also left our house spotless. I would definitely use her again!
My two dogs loved Berkley! She was great with communication and kept our home spotless. My dogs typically are skittish with new people but they felt comfortable with Berkley right away. Highly recommend her to anyone!

Schedule
I’m currently pursuing my DVM degree abroad, and I’m home for the summer, so I have full availability and a very flexible schedule. I do relief veterinary technician shifts on the side, so there may be some random days where I will be gone 6-8 hours, but pet care is my main focus. I can give your pet consistent attention, care, and reliability throughout the day and week.

- I like to know a pet’s normal routine, diet, and any medical conditions or medications, including how they’re typically administered at home. I also ask about behavior, things like anxiety, triggers, or how they respond to new people, so I can take care of them safely. Having a clear understanding of the pets behavior and quirks ahead of time helps me to better understand them and their personalities.
