Experienced dog/cat and house sitter
My mum runs/owns a rescue and rehoming charity and so I’ve grown up with all kinds pets. We have 7 dogs at the moment (and since I was 4 our house has always been filled like this) ranging from husky’s to little street mutts, all with their own trauma’s that I’ve been able to help train and watch grow into the happy little pups they are today. Because of this I find it so easy and love being in the presence of dogs and other animals and the routine that comes with having pets comes natural to me. We also have two cats that I’ve grown up with and adore. I’m a home body and will love looking after things for you whilst you’re away.

As I said above, I’ve grown up with lots of rescue animals in my household and have spend so much time at shelters where the animals have different needs and requirements. So I am more than capable at adapting to the routine of your pet so they are super comfortable and nothing changes in their routine until you come back.
Ratings and reviews
Beren recently looked after our large wire-haired vizsla and 14 year old terrier for the first time and could not have done a better job. Beren is extremely calm, friendly and professional and is clearly very comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments. We came home to two very happy and relaxed dogs and an extremely clean and tidy house. Totally recommend! Thank you Beren.
I highly recommend Beren. Beren is experienced and knowledgable about dogs including rescue / anxious dogs. We have 2 dogs, one who is anxious and reactive to other dogs, and Beren walked her / looked after her with confidence. Beren kept in touch with texts and photos and both dogs settled with her very quickly. Beren stayed in our home and was an all-round reliable and trustworthy dog/house sitter.
We had a great experience with our cat sitter. Beren was simply great, sending regular updates and photos which really helped put us at ease while we were away. It was clear our cat was very comfortable and well cared for, relaxed, happy, and clearly bonding with her. We’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, reliable sitter.
Beren is an extremely careful and responsible individual who has a good rapport with animals, particularly nervous or anxious ones. She has worked with me in international rescue and fostered many homeless dogs until they are found homes. I personally have 5 dogs and two cats, which I can totally trust her with in my absence. I highly recommend Beren for anyone seeking to leave their animals with her.
I can't recommend Beren enough to look after your furry friend. Beren looked after my cat for a few days when I went on holiday and she took excellent care of Dabs (my cat) and the house too. She was great with communication and sent me plenty of photo updates of Dabs so I could see how much fun she was having with her new bestie Beren. Will definitely be hiring her again!
As an owner of several pets of her own, Beren is an extremely confident and capable pet caregiver. I would trust her with my own pets just as much as I would trust myself with them. She would be a fantastic person to fill the role of a pet sitter!

Schedule
My schedule with work changes weekly but I know enough in advance that I can plan and make things work. I’m self employed so for the most part can choose my own hours so I can also work around your schedule if needed! The majority of what I do can be done remotely bar the odd meeting so there may be a day where I pop out for a couple hours but will be back promptly.
