I am extremely diligent with my guests, just as I am with my own dog. They are always monitored and in view. We separate them for feedings. They have access to our home, our yard and there is special furniture (if they are allowed by the owners on furniture) for them to rest and sleep. We also have a doggy door with access to the backyard.

Information Benoit D. would like to know about your pet
We ALWAYS require a meet and greet before we board or care for (daycare) any dog. It is important to make an assessment if it is a good fit for the animal and the owner. We will discuss; level of activity desired, eating habits, does he/she play well with others, personality characteristics about the animal, likes and dislikes, how often to feed him/her, do they go on furniture, are they properly potty trained, are they suffering from separation anxiety. I have a checklist of questions for you and I am sure you will as well. This is the best way for both of us to determine if it is a good fit for all. There is no cost associated for the "meet and greet" and no obligation on your part to book with us.
A typical day
I play with the dogs outside. We play catch, run, etc. I have a doggy door with access to the back yard and I try to teach them how to go through it. I prone a "pack" environment and work on their social skills. I find it important for the dogs to not be codependent on their masters and constant human presence.

Pet care experience
I just love dogs, all sizes and breeds. I've had and cared for them all my life. They just bring me joy and happiness...and it is mutual! If you have or had a dog, you know that they are an integral part of your family. It is difficult to find a good temporary home for our pets when we travel and can't take them with us. I know, I have a dog (his name is Scrappy) and it seemed like no place could offer him the personal care he has at home and deserves. Each dog has its own personality and I find it imperative to get to know them individually. I know, I have boarded over 200 different dogs in the last 24 months alone. That's the main reason I started caring for and boarding dogs. I enjoyed it tremendously and the love they bring is priceless...so I decided to leave my corporate job of 11 years to focus all of my time on this new venture. We provide the following services: boarding, daycare, training and nutrition (grooming to come as well). Our guarantee no matter what service we offer to you: that your pet will be treated, cared for and loved as if it was mine.
Reviews

Great sitter! Knowledgeable and firm with the dogs, which they (and we) need! He obviously loves what he does! This is our first experience with both Rover and Mr. Ben. We will be using both again very soon.

A great environment and person to trust my dog with while out of town. I could tell my dog was very comfortable with Ben during the meet and greet.

I’ve seen such great progress with my two pups since taking them to Ben. Spending time with other dogs and being watched by someone who has extensive training experience has made such a difference, especially on our walks and visits to the dog park. If you’re looking to leave your fur babies in great hands, look no further.

Ben, thanks for sharing the videos and pics during the trip. Monty came home happy and more mature. I am sure you helped him in the process. Thank you!
