I've been a pet sitter on Rover for over 10 years, and one of my favorite things about it is getting to know each pet's unique personality. Whether your pet is a playful ball of energy, a professional couch potato, or a little shy at first, I believe every animal deserves patience, affection, and care tailored to their individual needs. What sets me apart is the attention I give to the little things. I know how important routines, familiar surroundings, and consistency are to pets, especially when their favorite humans are away. I take the time to learn their habits, preferences, and personalities so they feel as comfortable, happy, and secure as possible. Communication is also a huge priority for me! You can expect thoughtful updates, adorable photos, and peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring, dependable hands. I treat every pet with the same love, respect, and attention I'd want for my own. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities! 🐾 When caring for pets in your home, I make sure to follow their usual routines as closely as possible, from feeding schedules and playtime to litter box care and any special instructions you provide. I'm attentive to the little details, like keeping doors and windows secure, ensuring fresh water is always available, and maintaining a clean, comfortable environment. I also respect each pet's personality and boundaries, whether they're looking for lots of affection or prefer a little personal space. I'll treat your home with care and respect, keep you updated with photos and messages, and communicate promptly if anything needs your attention. My goal is simple: for you to feel completely at ease knowing your furry family member is in good hands! ❤️

Benjamin was great with our Great Dane Daisy. She’s an elderly dog, with some particular needs (specifically she needs medicine 2x a day and also has a couple of open wound/tumors that require attention occasionally) and we couldn’t be happier with Benjamin! We received photo updates while we were gone and Daisy was relaxed and happy when we got home. I highly recommend his services!
Ben was great with my kitty Niko! I could tell he did a great job because this was the first time ever that I have returned from a trip and didn’t have Niko begging me for attention. He also took care of my plants. Plus he cleaned the litter box without my request! He was very fun to talk to in person as well. I will definitely book him again in the future!
Ben was great! Super responsive and friendly, sent pictures and updates every day while we were away. Would definitely recommend and we will be using him again in the future!
The pups had a great time with Ben and he even bathed them before we returned (which was a welcome surprise). Will absolutely be using him next time we're out of town.
Benjamin came through for us after we had a crisis with the prior sitter that lost our dog! He was assertive and communicative immediately after I sought another sitter. He picked up our dog at the police dept and took amazing care of it as it was lost during the night. Cleaned him up and made sure that we were feeling very secure again with him in good care! Rover was very supportive during the incident and we appreciated their response to a bad experience ending well!
Ben watched our dog, Callie, for 4 days and was truly fantastic! He sent pictures every day -- and she clearly had a great time. His communication was great as well, from our initial contact all they way through to pickup at the end. I'd highly recommend him!

Schedule
I prioritize keeping pets on their familiar schedules, whether that means morning feedings, afternoon playtime, evening visits, or simply spending quality time together. I understand how important consistency is, especially for pets who appreciate their routines! I do my best to accommodate each pet's individual needs and coordinate visit times with their owners to ensure everyone feels comfortable and cared for. I'm also happy to provide regular updates and photos throughout our time together! My goal is to make pet care as seamless and stress-free as possible for both you and your furry family members. ❤️

A few things that are especially helpful to know include their usual routines, feeding schedules, favorite activities, temperament, and how they interact with new people or other animals. I'd also appreciate knowing about any medical conditions, medications, allergies, behavioral concerns, or special accommodations they may need. And don't forget the fun stuff! Do they have a favorite toy, a particular spot they love being scratched, or a silly habit that makes you laugh?
