I’ve been around dogs my entire life and recently said goodbye to my 13-year-old yellow Lab, who was a huge part of my life. I’m not quite ready for another dog of my own, but I definitely miss having a furry friend around, which is a big part of why I joined Rover. Having a dog from puppyhood through his senior years gave me experience with all stages of a dog’s life. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs who need long walks and plenty of exercise, as well as older dogs who need a slower pace, a little extra patience, and more attention to their routine. I’m active, dependable, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and quirks. Most importantly, I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else. I’ll treat your dog the way I always wanted mine to be treated: with patience, attention, affection, and plenty of updates along the way.

I know every pet has their own routine, personality, and comfort level, so my priority is keeping things as familiar and consistent as possible. In a client’s home, I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any house rules your pet is used to. I’m attentive to the little things too, whether that’s making sure they have fresh water, getting enough exercise, keeping their space clean, or simply spending some time with them so they aren’t alone the entire visit. Most importantly, I’ll treat both your pet and your home with respect. I know how reassuring it is to know your dog is happy and in good hands, so I’m also happy to send photos and updates while you’re away.

Ben is a superb dog owner and dog caretaker. Over the past 15 years, he has demonstrated this by watching my dog anywhere from a few hours to a few days. I've seen the care he takes and the love he gives each animal he supports.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule that makes it easy to fit pet care into my daily routine. I work on my own business, so I have a lot of control over my schedule and can make time for walks, drop-ins, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m also an active person and enjoy getting outside, so having a dog along for a walk is a welcome addition to my day. Whether your dog needs a quick neighborhood walk, some extra playtime, or a longer adventure to burn off some energy, I’m happy to work around their normal routine and make sure they get the time and attention they need.
