My family and I have spent years taking care of a wide variety of dogs, from puppies to seniors, Chihuahuas to Great Danes, and everything in between. I live near both on and off leash dog parks in the Ottawa suburbs with a fenced in back yard, so I can handle anything your dog needs to be comfortable. Our kids are 11 & 13 and are both comfortable and respectful with our guests.

Ben always takes good care of our pups and the dogs are always happy to stay with him. They come back home happy and tuckered. Ben is great at keeping us updated on their time away from home providing regular updates which we appreciate immensely.
Ben was easy to communicate with, quick to respond to messages, and shared photos through my dog’s stay. He ensures the dog receives proper exercise and followed all directions.
Benjamin made us feel at ease leaving our dog behind for a short trip. He sent frequent updates, was easy to communicate with, and flexible. Koya came back to us happy and tired from her play time with other dogs.

Schedule
I work from home with somewhat flexible hours, so I am able to easily walk any guests before, after, and at lunch. With a fenced in back yard, I can also let them out back to rest or relieve themselves pretty much any time.

Safety, trust & environment
Depending on the pet, either I let them wander the house during the day, or I bring with me in my office or as I move through the house, based on their personalities. I would take them on at least 2 walks a day, ideally to the off-leash park nearby, but if they do not react well to other dogs I would keep them at the closer on-leash park. At night I would have them sleep in the room with me, either on the bed or off, generally based on their preference.
A typical day
Depending on your dog's recall, comfort levels, and dog reactivity, I can either take them to the dog park to play fetch with them, give them on or off leash walks around my local parks, or play with them in my back yard.
