Hello! I’m Ben, and I would be thrilled to be your go-to dog walker and sitter. I’ve gained a lot of hands-on experience caring for dogs, and my passion for their well-being has only grown stronger over time. My partner Rebecca and I have a two-year-old Border Collie/Lab mix named Pearl. While she has a little of that energetic collie craziness, she’s well-behaved, affectionate, and a joy to be around. Caring for Pearl has taught me even more about canine behaviour, training, and the importance of exercise and socialisation, which I bring to every walk and sitting session. Rebecca has been around dogs all her life and sometimes joins me and your furry friend on walks. She loves dogs of all sizes and breeds and is very knowledgeable about their care. Beyond our own pets, Rebecca and I volunteer with Team Arlo York, a lost dog rescue group. We’re actively involved in call-outs, searches, and rescues, using gear like thermal drones and scopes to help find missing dogs in the York area. This experience has deepened our understanding of dog behaviour, safety, and handling in all situations. There aren’t enough stars for Ben. Honestly, I have never had anyone so thoughtful, responsible, and genuine care for our dog and cat. Becky and he made themselves available, communicated regularly, and took care of Ollie, India, and our home as if they were theirs. I wouldn’t hesitate having them over again to stay — they’re part of our family now!!
Benjamin was very friendly and approachable. Nevis took to him straight away and I can tell that he had a lovely time! I was kept updated throughout the visit, wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, thank you!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ben did an absolutely fantastic job looking after Bubba and Tiger while staying in our house. From the moment we met him, it was clear he genuinely cares about animals, and that showed throughout his stay. Bubba and Tiger were incredibly well cared for — happy, relaxed, and clearly comfortable in their own home. Ben was respectful of our house, reliable, and kept us regularly updated with messages and photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. He took the time to understand their routines and personalities and looked after everything brilliantly. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ben to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring house sitter, and we’ll definitely be booking him again. Thank you, Ben!
Benjamin was a great dog sitter for our dog Enzo. Enzo warmed to him straight away, which says a lot! He clearly loves dogs, was easy to communicate with, and kept us updated with photos throughout. We felt really happy leaving Enzo with him and would definitely recommend.
Ben and Becky came to look after our three pooches and were absolutely great. Very processional, turned up on time and us being late back was not a problem at all. Would highly recommend and will be using again if we visit York in the future and need a dog sitter. Ben was so friendly happy to do meet and greet to reassure me he would get on with the dogs. Came on time and dogs happy to see him and go on walks. Ben was complimentary how well behaved they were and they responded to the recall whistle. I will use Ben again and would recommend him to others. He was a great help as I’m recovering Major surgery
