My name is Ben and I live with my wife, Laura, in Canaan. I work from home and we are both available as needed throughout the day to provide close supervision, companionship and outdoor time for your pet. We grew up with a lot of pets, and have always loved being around dogs especially. We have had several Saint Bernards in the past and are comfortable with large dogs. Whatever the shape or size, we look forward to getting to know your pet and giving them the best care we can provide. We are happy to host and are flexible to travel, both weekdays and weekends. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I've leaned on Ben and Laura multiple times to watch my 4-year-old dog, Callie, and they continue to make me feel so comfortable when they're watching her in their home. I appreciate their regular updates with photos, their responsiveness to questions and requests, and their attentiveness to her needs. Callie enjoyed her daily walks, got along well with Ben and Laura's two dogs, and loved playing in the new fenced in yard.
Our pup was so happy this week! Benjamin & Laura took such good care of him and gave us lots of updates all week.
Our 4 year old Labradoodle started have anxiety at the kennels we brought him too. We tried Ben and Laura and it was a great experience. Goobah got along great with their beautiful dogs and loved being able to go on the furniture to get comfy. Thank you so much for providing a wonderful home for our buddy while we were away!!! We will definitely book in the future with you.
Our miniature dachshund follows us everywhere, so we were super nervous about leaving him for a week. But he quickly settled in with Laura & Ben and stayed calm because he was well cared for. Now that we are home, he is tired from so much playing with their awesome basset hounds but happy and healthy. Thank you Laura & Ben for letting us have a worry-free week, and thanks for the great and reassuring daily photos you sent!

Benjamin and Laura took wonderful care of our 3 dogs on a Saturday! They followed all of our instructions and exceeded our expectations. They sent various photos and a nice thorough recap. My husband and I had an emotionally taxing day, so knowing our dogs were well taken care of helped ease our minds a bit. Highly recommend Benjamin and Laura!

Schedule
Availability 7 days/week with flexible work hours. Can travel to your home and stay overnight if needed as well as take out for walks during the day.
