About Benjamin H.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize safety, clear communication, and making sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for in their own home. I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, play, and any specific instructions to keep things consistent and low-stress. Walks are tailored to your dog’s needs, whether that’s exercise, sniff time, or a calm structured walk. My goal is reliable care and peace of mind while you’re away.
Information Benjamin H. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog is leash trained, how they behave on walks, and any triggers like people, other dogs, or objects. If your dog is leash reactive, anxious, or an older dog who needs a slower pace or extra support, I’m experienced and will adjust walks to keep them safe, comfortable, and low-stress.
A typical day
🦴 Walks around the neighborhood, playtime at home, sniff-focused walks to help your pup relax and burn energy, people-watching at a nearby park or green space, and enrichment toys (upon owner request and preparation).

Care Tailored to Your Pet’s Needs
Pet care experience
🐾 Calm, patient care for dogs who need extra understanding. I especially enjoy caring for anxious, reactive, and sensitive pets who thrive with patience, structure, and thoughtful handling. As the owner of a 3-year-old rescue Goldendoodle, I have firsthand experience with leash reactivity, pulling, and anxiety. I understand canine body language and know how to help dogs feel safe, regulated, and secure. Whether your dog needs slow introductions, sniff-focused walks, or extra reassurance, I tailor my care to their unique needs. My goal is simple: exceptional care for your pet and peace of mind for you.
Reviews
Ben was wonderful with my dog, Sadie. I felt very comfortable leaving her in his care and confident in his ability to provide attentive, responsible, and loving support. He was professional, dependable, and calm, and I trusted that he would handle any emergency with care and good judgment. I would absolutely recommend Ben to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet caregiver.
Benjamin has cat sitted for me several times, and he always does a fantastic job. He’s very attentive to my pet’s needs and even took the time to give my cat some playtime while I was away. I would recommend him as a sitter to anyone.
Ben is GREAT! He house sat for us for a week and took care of our large dog, cat and birds. He is very responsible and caring. Very detail oriented. If he had any questions, he didn’t hesitate to ask. We came home to a clean house and happy pets! Highly recommend!
