Hi! I’m Ben, a genuine dog lover that goes above and beyond for all pets under my care. I’ve been called a “dog whisperer” by more than a few people because I naturally connect with dogs on a deep level, especially those who may be hesitant, skittish, or shy around others. Time and time again, those dogs seem to gravitate toward me, and earning their trust is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. I value patience and consistency for these adorable, loving creatures and truly see them as members of the family, not just pets. I take my responsibility seriously and always research the ins and outs of every breed before pet sitting so I can provide thoughtful, customized care tailored to each dog’s specific needs and personality. I love meeting dogs at their energy level, whether that means lots of playtime, long walks, games, and exercise, or ensuring structured rest and calm downtime when that’s what they need most. I’m happy to learn about your training goals and reinforce behavior using positive reinforcement strategies so your dog feels supported, safe, and understood. I’ve worked with all types of dogs and a wide range of challenges, including food aggression, excessive barking, and very cautious or shy temperaments. I truly love all dogs and meet them where they are, with patience, empathy, and consistency. I also welcome any and all instructions you’d like to share. No list is too long when it comes to your valued family member, and I take pride in following routines closely so your dog feels comfortable and secure while you’re away. Ben took such great care of Lucy while I was away, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. His communication was outstanding, sending regular updates with lots of photos, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was happy and well cared for. I especially appreciated how thoughtful he was with Lucy’s high puppy energy, particularly during the extreme heat this past week. He made sure she still got exercise while keeping her safe and comfortable, adjusting to short frequent activities given the high temperatures. It was also Lucy’s first time with fireworks and he made sure she was not afraid or anxious. Lucy came home happy, tired, relaxed, and clearly well loved. I would absolutely trust Ben with her again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring dog sitter. Thank you so much Ben!
Ben has watched my dog, Ollie, several times, and it’s safe to say he is Ollie’s absolute favorite. Ollie is obsessed with him, which says everything you need to know. Ben is incredibly attentive and goes above and beyond in his care. He ensures Ollie gets plenty of exercise through long walks, trips to the dog park, and what feels like endless rounds of tennis ball — all paired with lots of affection and attention. He also has a rare, almost magical quality with dogs. They are immediately drawn to him and clearly trust and adore him. Beyond that, Ben is extremely knowledgeable about dog care and behavior. He has a deep understanding of canine nature, knows how to guide and train dogs appropriately, and uses positive reinforcement thoughtfully and effectively. I have complete confidence in Ben and couldn’t recommend him more highly to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and genuinely gifted dog walker.
Ben has taken such great care of our dog Mackenzie! He send pictures and updates frequently and we know she is always in good care with him! He plays with her and takes her on walks and treats her like his own. We feel safe having him watch her and have never had any issues. I would highly recommend Ben for anyone’s pets for him to watch they will be in great and caring hands!

Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, my top priority is ensuring comfort, consistency, and a stress-free experience. If your pet stays in my home, they’ll enjoy a fenced-in yard and plenty of fresh air, plus we live just blocks from the beach, perfect for dogs who love seaside walks and playtime. We also have a very friendly French bulldog who loves other dogs and provides great companionship, especially for shy or anxious pups who benefit from having a buddy. I’m always mindful that some dogs may feel out of their comfort zone at first, and I take great care to help them settle in gently. Many dogs who have stayed with us have quickly warmed up to our cozy home and routine. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’m dedicated to keeping them on their normal routine to provide familiarity and reduce stress. I treat every home with the utmost respect, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and care as if it were my own. No matter where I’m caring for your pet, I carefully review and follow all instructions to ensure consistency, comfort, and safety while you’re away. I also believe strongly in keeping you connected, so I send frequent photos and videos because I know how much it means to see your pet happy when you’re apart, even if it’s just for a few hours.
