Hi! My name is Ben and I love dogs. I have spent a majority of my life taking care of and spending time around as many dogs as I could! I grew up alongside two large and lovable Rottweilers, one Chihuahua who LOVED attention and was attached at my hip (appropriately named Shadow), a Poodle-Bichon who has all the energy in the world (even in his old age), a dopey & friendly brindle Boxer my roommate adopted who became part of the family, and now my own 3-legged angel from above, Bodhi. I have also walked & cared for other breeds for friends and family such as Australian Shepherds, Hounds, Malamutes, Huskies, Labs, Lhasa Apsos, and more! I am fully aware of the love, care, & exercise that all dogs need and deserve and am more than happy to provide. I am very active myself and always appreciate a four legged friend to accompany me on my runs & walks all over the city.

Benjamin took great care of our girl Kuma! He has the sweetest dog, who is very well socialized and chill! It’s obvious he is very experienced with all types of dogs :)
Our dog Poppy had a great stay with Benjamin! She was exhausted when she got home which shows she had a great time! Benjamin was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive and sent us a few pictures of Poppy during her stay. We will definitely book with Benjamin again!
AMAZING. Our boy is a nervous guy, but Benjamin made him feel very comfortable. We got multiple pictures and updates throughout his stay. He even gave up his own bed because the dogs were taking up the space 😂 10/10 will definitely book again!
Benjamin was great with Maverick! He had a great time meeting Bodhi and handing out!
Ben took great care of our dog! She got along great with his dog, Bodie, and they enjoyed time together on walks and around the apartment. We could tell our dog felt comfortable and enjoyed her time staying with Ben. Wonderful dog sitter and highly recommended!
Ben took care of our dog while we were out of town for the holidays. He was very responsive and flexible when we had to extend our dog’s stay due to travel delays. Would book again!

Schedule
I work from home with a very flexible schedule and can make time to meet your dog or if your dog is staying with me, make it a priority to get them out and about when needed!

Safety, trust & environment
If your dog needs any special attention or medication, you can feel safe knowing I can provide. My dog has 3 legs and ensuring that he is doing well and able to be mobile on any given day is part of my routine. Your pet would be no different in the care and attention I would give them.

A typical day
I live a block away from Balboa Park where there are multiple dog parks and fields that I can take your dog to play, same places I take mine. If parks aren't their thing, they can enjoy a lovely walk through the Hillcrest and North Park neighborhoods with me to look at houses I can't afford yet and maybe stop by a nice cafe or brewery with a dog friendly patio :)
