I’m used to caring for dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I regularly care for my own dog, Mara, as well as my mom’s three dogs, so I’m comfortable balancing routines, play, rest, and individual needs. In my home or a client’s home, I focus on: • following established feeding, walk, and medication routines • providing appropriate exercise and mental stimulation based on each pet’s energy level • offering calm supervision and companionship, especially for dogs who need reassurance • keeping environments clean, safe, and low-stress I pay close attention to body language and behavior, adjusting care as needed. Whether that means extra outdoor time, structured play, or quiet downtime, I aim to help pets feel secure and settled while their owners are away. I also communicate clearly with pet parents, sharing updates so they know their pets are comfortable and well cared for.

Ben is amazing sitter for our Rufus!!! He is constantly interacting with Rufus, working with him on sitting, heeling. He is following our schedule for Rufus , Ben really cares about his individualized care needs. We had a bad experience at a local kennel and thanks to Ben we are completely comfortable to leave Rufus in his very capable hands. Ben has also introduced Rufus to his own furbaby, Mara. Benjamin is absolutely wonderful with animals. He is dependable, reliable and caring with the animals. He has done some formal training with his own dog, and is willing to put that knowledge to use if asked. I never have to worry about the care my own dogs are receiving with Benjamin as the caregiver. Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I structure my days around consistent check-ins, walks, feeding times, and quiet companionship, so pets aren’t squeezed in between other commitments. I plan my schedule intentionally to make sure I’m present and attentive during care visits, whether that’s active play, calm supervision, or simply being there so a pet feels secure. Because I value routine and predictability, I’m reliable about timing and follow care instructions closely. Caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy, and it’s part of how I keep my days grounded and purposeful—not an afterthought.
