Hello everyone, my name is Ben. I've been training and working with dogs for years, and what I want most is to improve your dog's life. A former roommate had a deeply traumatized little Sheppard mix who only liked her and absolutely no one else, especially other dogs. We worked with her over months, building up her confidence and willingness to trust, and she blossomed! I was finally able to adopt the best dog I have ever known, Bruce Banner! She had gotten so much more comfortable that they could actually shake hands, and that changed all our lives. Now, I don't have to work with your dog that thoroughly, maybe you just need a walk. But even so, my goal is to give your pup a better understanding of their world by positively shaping them along our walk (even without treats, if you'd prefer) to show them how to walk politely and to live confidently within their bounds. If you need a sitter and there are problem areas in the house--going after dropped food, running out doors, etc--I can work on those with the pooch and report back to you about what works and what doesn't. You get a vacation, dog gets some great training and engagement, win-win.
