I’m very flexible with work commitments and can usually accommodate most dates and times. My calendar is kept up to date, but feel free to message me if you have specific requirements or last-minute requests — I’m always happy to help where I can. Regarding daily routine, my work is flexible and remote so I can give attentive care to your dogs and keep them company throughout the day.

Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I will follow instructions closely (including off-lead or on-lead), stick to your dog’s usual routine, and make sure they feel relaxed and secure while you’re away. I’m very affectionate and attentive, so if your dog enjoys company, cuddles, and reassurance, they’ll get plenty of it. I always aim to create a calm, positive environment where your dog feels at home and well cared for. I also have my own insurance for pet-care seperate to Rover’s cover.

A typical day
A typical day will depend on your dog’s needs, but usually includes walks to local parks or green spaces, playtime and plenty of relaxed company. As I can work remotely and flexibly, I can accommodate feeding times, garden breaks and provide attentive care to your pet throughout the day as well as in the evenings. For higher-energy dogs, I’m happy to include active walks, runs, or games like fetch. For calmer or older dogs, I’ll keep things relaxed and stick closely to their usual routine.

I’m flexible and responsive, and I’m always happy to tailor walks and care to your dog’s routine, energy level, and personality. Whether that means active walks, playtime, relaxed company at home, or sticking closely to feeding and medication instructions, I’ll make sure your dog gets exactly what they need. I’ve grown up around dogs and, since losing my childhood dog a few years ago, it’s always a genuine pleasure to spend time caring for and bonding with other people’s dogs. I treat every dog as if they were my own and always aim to go above and beyond to keep them safe, comfortable, and happy.

Ben did an absolutely fantastic job looking after my dog, Chester. From the start, he was friendly, reliable, and clearly experienced with dogs, which immediately put me at ease. Chester can be a bit particular, but he warmed to Ben straight away—a true testament to Ben’s calm and caring nature. Throughout the time I was away, Ben kept me updated with messages and photos, which I really appreciated. It was clear Chester was happy, well-exercised, and getting lots of attention. When I returned, Chester was relaxed and content, which says everything about the quality of care he received. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ben to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive dog sitter😊
Ben is a very responsive and friendly house sitter. Our dog loved him immediately and Ben was very keen to understand her needs. Bonnie is a Collie mix rescue with a very independent streak . Ben managed her very well and did everything we asked. The house was very tidy when we returned and we would be 100% confident in booking Ben again.Highly recommended.Thank you Ben.
Ben is great. Just what we need to help us schedule on some extra walks to help manage our very energetic young Labrador. Milo can be challenging and Ben absolutely met that challenge and I would book him again.
