Ben can care for
Availability
I’m part-time caretaker for a family member, so I’m currently not working and have a very flexible schedule. I’m usually available within 24-hour notice, if I’m not taking them to a doctor’s appt or anything like that.

Safety, trust & environment
Unfortunately, I’m renovating my house and don’t feel it’s a safe environment for pets right now, but hopefully that will change at some point next year. In a client’s home, I can adapt to whatever the pet prefers (lots of attention/contact, accompanying outside, whatever).

Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and I’m the go-to house and pet sitter for family and friends. I love walking in general, so I enjoy the opportunity to do so with four-legged company. Even the pups who are wary of men tend to warm up to me okay. I’m also renovating my own home, so house sitting is like a vacation for me, haha. I’ve never owned a pet as an adult because I used to travel more, nor did I want to leave a pet alone while I was at the office all day, but I have fostered 8 kittens in my home previously and I love all animals… although I’m gonna have to pass on certain reptiles, haha. Sorry.
Reviews

Ben has sat our pup a few times now and has always been amazing. He’s very accommodating, sends lots of pictures, and, most importantly, our dog loves him. Will 100% keep working with Ben in the future.

Ben was great with my dog, gave plenty of updates, and treated my house with respect. I’d book him again!
Ben P. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.

This is our second time having Ben stay with our pup. Just as with the previous time he was great: clear communication, accommodating, and our pup loves him!
