Currently self-employed before moving back home to Bermuda at the end of this year. My average day involves waking up, going to the gym, cooking lunch, doing some work at my computer for a couple hours, before going for a 1-1.5hr walk/jog every day. I would be more than capable of looking after a dog between 12 and 5 every day, including taking your dog along for the walk/jog.

I currently live in a house-share and while I wouldn’t be able to look after your pet overnight in my own home. I would be capable of looking after them in your home. I believe in leaving things how I find them and would be happy to also assist with minor tasks around the house. For example, unloading a dishwasher, hanging clothes to dry, dusting or vacuuming. I like to stay active and would enjoy playing fetch, tug of war, or any activity with any pet, as long as they were up for it!

Animal lover needs walk companion
Pet care experience
I go for a 1-1.5hr walk every day and thought it would be nice to have a walking companion that also allows the dogs to get out and enjoy the fresh air. I have grown up around dogs. When I was a baby, our family had a springer spaniel that was with us for 13 years. After that, we adopted a Weimaraner (Murphy) who was a loving part of our family for a long time. Murphy was a dog with some behavioural issues which gave me an education in dealing with dogs of different temperaments - and sizes! I now live on my own and while work doesn’t enable me to properly look after my own dog, I saw this app as an opportunity to still be able to be around them. I have also looked after friends dogs in the past with breeds ranging from Malinois and German Shepherds to Rottweilers and English Bulldogs.

Ben was such an incredible carer for our older dog. He moved in as a neighbour a few years ago and we instantly got along. Whenever he popped over, he would do little things like bring treats and was always gentle with our older Rottweiler, Prince. Cannot recommend him enough as he is a kind, compassionate, and genuinely caring person. Your dogs will love him and we wish he was still around to help us out!
Ben is an excellent carer for pets, He used to help us look after our two dogs frequently after school. My wife and I both work long hours and found it very difficult to allow our two energetic dogs to get the exercise they needed. Ben is incredibly respectful and would always lock up the house after stopping by. Our dogs absolutely loved him and it's a shame he ended up moving. Our dogs noticeably missed him, as did we. We hope whoever gets the opportunity to have him look after their dogs takes it as he was basically part of the family!
