I have either had a dog or my entire life, including multiple years volunteering in a shelter! I do not currently own any of my own pets at the moment, which is why I love to sit/walk other peoples pups! This also means that I am more flexible to accommodating pups that might not get along so well with other furry friends. I am centrally located between Central Park and Riverside Park on the Upper West Side (103rd & Amsterdam) so your pup will get lots of fresh air! I live in a spacious 1-bedroom apartment (alone) where your pup will feel right at home (They might not even want to leave)! I work from home and rarely am out of my apartment for more than a couple of hours a time during the work week so your furry friend will never be alone for long and will get plenty of opportunities to get outside. I love to send pics and updates about your pup's stay for peace of mind! EXCEPTION: I am out of my apartment from 5pm - 1am every Friday and Saturday

Ben was great with Fala! I needed daycare on short notice and Ben was happy to arrange a quick meet-and-greet so Fala would be more comfortable on the appointed day. He sent updates throughout the day and was terrific about meeting us in the street to exchange the pup as I couldn't find parking on his block! We look forward to having Ben care for Fala again.

Ben is quick to respond, punctual and was very attentive to my dog Trixie making sure to give her lots of exercise and fresh water after her walk. I highly recommend Ben for your pets needs.
It was the first time my 5-year-old miniature Dachshund was dropped off at doggy daycare, and Ben took wonderful care of my very anxious, separation-prone pup. He kept in constant contact with me, sending photos and updates. My dog eventually calmed down and ended up having a great time with Ben.
Ben is very doting with our dog and our dog really likes spending time with Ben. Highly recommend him.
Truly a wonderful pet sitter. Ben toon excellent care of my elderly small dog (16!). He provided consistent, timely, and often funny updates on her and her well-being. They made me both miss her more but also know that she was in great hands. Communication was seamless and I’m happy to say I feel that I’ve found a long term pet sitter for my sweet angel.

My home: I live alone in a large one bedroom apartment and my clients have full range of the space. Client's home: Your house, your rules. Happy to abide by whatever you say.
A typical day
I love to explore the neighborhood with my furry clients and take them to Central Park and Riverside Park, play fetch, tug-of-war, and hide-the-treat, and can provide light training. Additionally, my apartment has great sunlight perfect for your canine to stretch out in for afternoon naps.
