When your pup stays with me, they are integrated into my daily routine — not just “watched,” but genuinely loved and cared for. ⸻ 🛡️ Safety & Supervision Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. ✔ Fully fenced and secure backyard ✔ Dogs are always supervised while outside — never left unattended ✔ Baby gates installed for additional safety layers ✔ Separate feeding areas to prevent food guarding and manage allergies ✔ Dogs always kept on leash during walks I am experienced in reading canine body language and adjusting routines based on each dog’s temperament and comfort level. ⸻ 🚶 Adventure Walks & Enrichment We are fortunate to live near beautiful trails, including scenic adventure walks around Bell Lake 🌲💧 Walks typically range from 1–2 hours depending on your dog’s energy level and include: • Structured leash walking • Sniffing and mental enrichment • Lakeside and wooded trail exploration Adventure walks are always tailored to your dog’s energy level, personality, and confidence. In addition, dogs enjoy: • Supervised backyard play • Evening neighborhood walks • Calm indoor enrichment and rest time ⸻ 🏡 Home Environment My home is designed with dogs in mind: • Three-level home with ample indoor space • Six dog beds throughout the house • Sofas and blankets available for comfort • Flowing water fountains on multiple levels (filters cleaned and replaced regularly) • Heated home during winter months • Dehumidifier for clean, comfortable air Dogs are welcome throughout my home. ⸻ ❤️ Rescue & Anxiety Experience I have extensive experience caring for rescue dogs and managing anxiety, including separation anxiety. Growing up, my mother rescued and fostered dogs on our family farm. I was actively involved in their daily care and learned early how to nurture nervous or sensitive dogs with patience and structure. Today, I continue that experience with my own three rescues. ⸻ 💬 Communication I understand how difficult it can be to leave your dog. You will receive structured updates four times daily: ✅ Morning ✅ Afternoon ✅ Evening ✅ Before bed Each update includes photos, videos, and a brief summary so you always feel informed and at ease. ⸻ 📅 Meet & Greets I prefer to schedule a meet & greet before every first booking. This allows us to ensure a comfortable fit and gives your pup the opportunity to explore my fenced garden and interact calmly with my dogs. ⸻ 🌟 Final Note Providing a safe, structured, and loving environment is something I take seriously. I understand that trusting someone with your dog is a significant decision — and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Ben has been amazing with our pets. We've left our dog with him several times. We left our senior cat with him for the first time on our most recent trip. He sends so many photos and provides updates every day. He is very trustworthy and kind. We hope to continue using him for as long as he pet sits.
Ben was fantastic! We had just rescued our Bashy 2 months prior to her stay and we were leaving her for 10 days. I was worried she would be anxious and feel abandoned. I was able to relax almost immediately as Ben sent through photos of their adventures every day. We will definitely use Ben again!
Ben was absolutely amazing to deal with, he returned messages instantly and while babysitting our 4 month old puppy he sent lots of pictures ! Highly recommend Ben !
Ben took incredible care of our Kobe who requires extra attention as he is a high energy dog. He is patient, reliable, and kept us fully informed the entire time. He sent us great daily updates with photos, followed all feeding and play instruction. It is clear he genuinely love kobe like his own.Thank you for taking such amazing care of our fur baby while we are away.
Ben is absolutely incredible. My dog loved him and all the activities along with the chickens. He even took my dog last minute when I got couldn’t make it home. You get peace of mine with Ben. 10 out of 10
I felt very comfortable, leaving my dog in Ben’s hands! He took her for many walks on and off leash and for swims, which is her favourite thing. He sent a lot of pictures and I could see that my dog was comfortable and well cared for. Highly recommend.

Schedule
📆 DAILY ROUTINE I work from home five days a week, which allows me to maintain a consistent and attentive routine for the dogs in my care. Morning (6:00 AM) We start the day early with a structured walk to the nearby lake. The round trip typically takes around two hours, providing exercise, enrichment, and calm exploration to start the day off right. Midday Throughout the day, dogs enjoy supervised outdoor time in my fully fenced garden, where they can safely run, play, and explore. Dogs are always attended and never left alone outside. Evening After work, we go for a relaxed walk around the neighborhood before settling in for the evening. Throughout the day, dogs also have access to comfortable indoor rest spaces and enrichment activities tailored to their energy level.

🛡️ Safety & Wellbeing My home is a safe, structured environment, and the safety and wellbeing of both your dog and my own dogs is my highest priority. Because I work from home, your dog will never be left alone. I am present throughout the day to supervise, monitor, and ensure everyone remains comfortable and secure. My property is fully fenced, and all outdoor time is supervised to maintain a safe and controlled environment.

A typical day
🌲 Exercise & Enrichment Depending on your dog’s energy level and preferences, I take dogs to the nearby lake, local parks, or forested trail areas for structured walks and exploration. In my fully fenced garden, I also play fetch and other interactive games — always supervised — so dogs can safely burn off energy and enjoy themselves. My home is stocked with a variety of plush and enrichment toys, providing both physical activity and mental stimulation throughout the day.
