Pet care experience
Fun-filled, Pawsome adventures 🐾
I have grown up with dogs my entire life and can't imagine a home without them. I have owned and cared for a range of breeds, including Maltipoos, Springer Spaniels, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, so I am comfortable with both smaller, larger, and more energetic dogs. I am currently a Zoology student at Swansea University which has given me a deeper understanding of animal behaviour and welfare. I’m very attentive to body language and always adapt my care to suit the dog’s personality and routine. I’ve helped raise several litters of puppies, from early feeding and socialisation through to basic training, so I am confident caring for puppies, adults and senior dogs. I love to be outdoors. I regularly go hiking and for long walks along the beach, so dogs in my care will get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation (while, of course, respecting each owner’s preferences and the dogs’s ability). Training and structure are important to me- one of my dogs went on to work with the police, which reflects my experience with consistency, routine, and positive guidance. I will treat each pet as if they were my own and aim to create calm, safe, and loving environment. I provide regular updates and photos so owners will feel completely at ease.

Ben was amazing with our dog Daisy. He was friendly and I had a great feeling straight away that Daisy was in good hands. Ben sent regular updates and we wouldn't hesitate to rebook with him in the future.

I contacted Rover after a poor experience with someone else.I had a meet and greet with Ben who I instantly liked. I also met Rosie on the same day.Who lived in the same house .Another nice person for Izzy to interact with.Ben sent photos ,a video and messages every day.Izzy always looked happy. When I went to collect Izzy I had a lovely greeting. She was obviously happy and relaxed.I knew that she had been well loved and all her needs met.I will not hesitate to book another stay with Ben in the future.I know Izzy would be delighted to stay with him too.

Ben is such a relaxed soul. He is a pleasure to be around and the dogs love him. Very respectful of your home and pets. Already booked him for next time.

What a sitter! Ben looked after our home and 2 dogs for 4 days and 3 nights. He was amazing. So much so Saffi cried when he left 😩. The dogs were so well looked after with walks that suited their abilities and lots of care and attention. We came home to a really clean house and Ben had even put his bedding on to wash and dry. An incredibly calm and thoughtful young man that we would recommend to anyone. Thank you Ben.

Sky is an older dog and high maintenance, needing to go out to empty himself in the middle of the night, sometimes more than once. Ben took this in his stride without complaint which was impressive enough. Ben also comforted Sky who hasn't been left behind before so when we returned from our weekend break we found our old dog in great shape, happy and contented. Ben communicated quickly and sent photos of Sky while we were away so we could relax and enjoy our holiday. The house was clean and cared for too, Ben's bed stripped and everything tidy. We can't thank him enough for his kindness and competence when looking after our beloved old boy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ben to anyone looking for a careful, responsible and sensitive petsitter.

Ben was great with my pair of pests. They looked like they had great fun with him. Highly recommend him.

Schedule
As a university student, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of free time to dedicate to pet care. I’m around for most of the year and home for much of the day, so dogs are rarely left alone. Pet care fits easily into my routine, as I already enjoy long walks, hiking, and beach walks, and I’m able to plan my studies around each dog’s needs and usual routine.
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
My fenced garden provides a secure space for your dog to enjoy the outdoors, while the house is filled with toys, treats, and cozy spots for them to relax. I live I will ensure they feel comfortable and well-cared for during their stay.
A typical day
Your dog’s day with me will be filled with plenty of playtime, exercise, and attention. We’ll start the day with a fun walk along the beach or one of the many beautiful coastal paths. Throughout the day, I’ll make sure to provide a mix of mental stimulation with toys and games. I’m also happy to work on any training if needed, whether it’s reinforcing basic commands or helping with specific behaviours. If your dog is more of a relaxer, we’ll enjoy some quieter time, either inside or in the garden, with a snack or a nap. In the evening, we might head out again for a sunset walk or another round of play, followed by dinner and downtime before bed.
