Corporate professional turned full-time animal lover. After years in the corporate world, I decided to follow my true passion: the well-being of our fur-babies. I believe that preventative health and holistic wellness are essential to help our furry family members live longer, healthier lives. A natural diet, daily exercise, and mental stimulation are key components of this approach. I am studying Canine and Feline Nutrition at Southern Illinois University to become a professional consultant for pet parents. Until then, I love putting my research and studies into practice by advising families about pet food, snacks, supplements, exercise, and other essentials. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. Whether I am caring for a playful youngster, an energetic adult, a gentle senior, or a pet with special requirements, my goal is always the same: to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My experience goes beyond everyday pet care. I have worked with animal rescue organizations in the US and Peru and fostered many dogs, including those with separation anxiety, trauma, medication needs, and post-op recovery. I am also certified in American Red Cross Pet First Aid and CPR, and I serve as the Out-of-State Dog Adoption Coordinator for SOCA Animal Rescue in Houston. Our Meet & Greet is an important part of my process. It gives us the chance to get to know each other and helps me learn about your kiddo's routine, feeding schedule, medical needs, favorite activities, and anything else that will help them feel comfortable while you're away. It is also a chance for you to ask me questions and see how I interact with your fur-baby. My dog, Bonnie, is a very spoiled 21 lb terrier-mix who lives like the queen she is. She always joins me on Meet & Greet visits (unless otherwise discussed) to make sure everyone is comfortable. She has a laissez-faire personality and gets along with dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities. Communication is extremely important to me. You will receive several daily updates, photos, and videos throughout your booking, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. I speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese, allowing us to communicate in whichever language feels most comfortable.
