At home, I live with a well-trained Great Dane and an 8-year-old Maine Coon—both of whom I’ve raised since they were a puppy and kitten—so I’m very familiar with all stages of pet care, from playful beginnings to relaxed senior years. Knowing what makes them feel secure, what they love, and what to avoid helps me tailor my care to their unique needs. Whether it’s a nervous pup or a playful cat, having this information upfront allows me to build trust with them and give them the best care possible while you’re away.
A typical day
Every pet is unique, so I tailor activities based on their personality, energy level, and preferences. For dogs, I love incorporating a mix of stimulating walks, playtime with their favorite toys, and, when appropriate, off-leash time in secure areas for safe exploration. If they enjoy it, I also mix in puzzle toys or scent games to keep them mentally engaged. For cats, I focus on enrichment through interactive play (like feather wands or laser pointers), cozy cuddle time, and creating engaging spaces with climbing or window watching if they enjoy that. I pay close attention to their mood and comfort level—especially with more reserved pets—so they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. Above all, my goal is to maintain their routine and provide a balance of activity, affection, and calm, so they’re not just looked after, but genuinely happy while you’re away.

Pet care experience
Animals have always been at the heart of my home and life. I’ve grown up with a wide range of dog breeds—from playful puppies to gentle seniors—and I’ve raised both a Standard Poodle and a Great Dane from the ground. As well as a precious Maine Coon kitty who I rescued! Over the years, I’ve provided trusted pet and house sitting for members of my community and church, building long-term relationships based on reliability and care. I treat every pet like family—with patience, respect, and lots of love. My approach to pet care combines years of hands-on experience with a natural intuition for animals’ needs.
