I’m currently working a very flexible schedule that is adaptable to your pet care needs. I can do morning and evening feedings with at least 1-2 check-ins during the day. I am local to Santa Barbara so I am quick to respond and do additional check-ins if need be.

I always make sure to ask what you are comfortable with if I am doing overnight stays with your pets. I provide necessary care and ensure the safety of your home. I leave your place clean and can attend to other house sitting needs as well.

Number one important thing to know about your pets ahead of time: how they interact with other animals. I need to know how your dog will act when on-leash during walks. I also need to know if they are friendly with people on or off leash. Please let me know if there are any behavioral issues you are working on or training with them. I want to make sure to keep your pets in a safe and secure environment.
A typical day
I love taking dogs out for their walks and provide plenty of play time at home. I feel most comfortable doing on-leash activities if it involves being outside your home. At home, I make sure to provide their enrichment and play fetch/tug of war if they have extra energy to release. I make sure your pets get the down time they need as well.

Hi! My name is Bekah and I love dogs. Simple as that. Big dogs, little dogs, old dogs, young dogs, you name it! I love them and they love me. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd named Rocky and spent many hours training him. He passed away in 2020 and was truly the best dog anyone could ask for. I watched dogs on Rover from 2018-2022, took a break, and started watching dogs again in 2025 to present. I can lift dogs up to 50 pounds if they are older or need assistance. I am well knowledgeable in many different dog breeds and am adaptable to their different needs. I love being outdoors and love going for long walks/hikes. I have experience with administering medication via oral and injection with senior dogs. I can provide extra care if needed and provide consistent updates/pictures throughout my stay. I live on the East side of Santa Barbara and have reliable transportation. I look forward to working with you and your doggie companions!

This was my first time hiring Bekah to sit for my dog and she did a great job. I came home to a relaxed border collie which speaks volumes about the care she received. Bekah is communitive, prompt, and respectful. And she left the house clean! I will definitely be using her again.

Bekah was so great with our fur babies. We have a 9 yr Border Collie mix and a 14 yr Puggle with medical issues (blindness, diabetes) and she took care of them as her very own pups in our home. She was a pro at giving our senior his daily medication shots. We came home to two very calm, content, not stressed-out pups. We plan to book her again in a few weeks. Thank you so much, Bekah.
