Hi! I’m Behnaz, a licensed veterinarian from abroad with over 10 years of hands-on pet care experience and 6 years working as a veterinarian. I’m currently studying for my Canadian licensing exams from home, which allows me to provide full-time care and attention for the pets I look after. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments — including puppies, senior pets, anxious dogs, rescue pets, and pets with medical needs. I’m comfortable administering medications, monitoring health concerns, and creating a calm and safe environment where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed. I truly love getting to know each pet’s personality and routine, and I always try to make them feel at home while keeping owners updated for peace of mind.

This was our first time using the Rover app so I was a little nervous, but we couldn't have found a better sitter! Behnaz and Zelda instantly bonded and I was very comfortable leaving her in Behnaz's care. We received updates and pictures on how Zelda was settling in, and it helped make our week long vacation worry free. Thank you Behnaz!
Our German Shorthaired pointer loved Behnaz!! We will 100% book with her again. It’s lovely that she only takes one dog at a time. He was very well cared for and the photo updates showed he got his exercise in and was tired and happy - big deal for a GSP! High recommend.
Behnaz took an amazing care of Eva! We could tell right away from the first pictures because Eva appeared so calm and relaxed, which almost never happens. At the end of the stay, Eva was very well rested and happy. We're glad to have found Behnaz and will definitely host with her in the future
So thankful for Behnaz watching my dog in my home while I was away. She provided daily updates, photos and always responsive. This was the first time leaving my dog, and Behnaz ensured my dog kept her routine and provided lots of attention, activity and care. Would absolutely recommend Behnaz.

Schedule
I currently study from home while preparing for my Canadian veterinary licensing exams, so I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my day at home. This allows me to provide lots of supervision, walks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I truly enjoy spending my time with animals.

I live in a clean, quiet, pet-friendly apartment near parks and walking trails in Waterloo. I do not have pets or children at home, which creates a calm and low-stress environment for visiting pets. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding, routines, medications, walks, and any special needs. Safety and comfort are my top priorities, and I make sure every pet feels secure, relaxed, and cared for while staying with me.
A typical day
A typical day includes regular walks, playtime, enrichment activities, cuddles, and lots of attention throughout the day. I try to match each pet’s energy level and routine — whether they enjoy active outdoor walks, quiet companionship, or extra play and mental stimulation. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel comfortable knowing their pet is happy and doing well.
