Hello! I'm Begüm, an international student currently pursuing a degree in Clinical Child Psychology at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. Originally from Turkey, I have a Maltese Terrier back home whom I dearly miss 🐾 . Growing up in Turkey, where street animals are very prevalent, I was surrounded by cats and dogs in my neighborhood, fostering a deep love and respect for them. During my university years, I made it a habit to feed street cats and dogs daily, contributing to their well-being. Additionally, with many friends and family members who own pets, I'm always surrounded by furry companions and enjoy spending time with them, so I have previous experience in pet sitting and dog walking, providing personalized care for pets based on their individual needs and preferences 🐱🐶 . Even during high school, I volunteered regularly at animal shelters, providing care and attention to animals in need. My goal is to ensure that every pet under my care feels loved, safe, and comfortable Furthermore, advocating for animal rights is a cause close to my heart, and I actively participate in various protests and campaigns back in Turkey to address the ongoing issues in animal welfare. As you can see from my profile pictures, I absolutely adore capturing funny and adorable moments of animals 📸🐾🥰 . As a responsible and reliable pet caregiver, I prioritize communication with pet owners, providing regular updates and photos to assure them of their pet's well-being while they are away :) My hours are flexible so don't hesitate to contact me for any kind of request!

Great experience with Begum, Ozzy was very comfortable and I got lots of lovely pics from her. Begum seemed very comfortable and experienced so I had a lot of confidence in her ability to care well for Ozzy. Would happily rebook with her and recommend her to others.
Begum and Dave were great, they updated me and sent pictures regularly. Daisy had a great time with them. I am happy to recommend them.
Great dog walker :)
Begum was lovely and super friendly. She made a real effort to help my timid cat feel comfortable and kept me updated every day with pictures and videos. It was great to see him settling in. I’ll definitely book with her again and highly recommend.
Begum checked in daily for our cat Mooksie and we received regular updates and photos. Mooksie doesn’t always trust people quickly but he warmed to Begum very quickly and we felt totally at ease with her watching him. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Whether in my home or the owner’s home, I maintain a clean space, keeping harmful substances or items out of reach.
A typical day
I love engaging in fun activities like fetch and interactive games. If they enjoy it, we’ll also spend time exploring outdoors or just cuddling. A typical day involves feeding, going for walks, and ensuring your pet stays happy and healthy. I include playtime, relaxation, and plenty of care tailored to their needs.
