Hi! My name is Becky, I’m an Aunt to 4 beautiful kiddos and come from a really large extended family that all live in the DMV! I've grown up my entire life with dogs, there has literally not been 1 second of my life where we did not have a dog in the house until recently when my last family dog passed away a couple of years ago. I got started with Rover because of our big old dog Jonah, he was a mix and a total sweetheart (pictures are in my profile). Jonah used to have a best friend named Jack, my sister's dog, when she lived with us but she moved to Oklahoma for a short time and Jonah was in desperate need of some company, and I thought Rover would be the perfect solution! So, I started doing Rover and absolutely loved it. After Jonah passed away, I still loved dog sitting so much that I figured I would keep my profile going and offer at home dog sitting! So, if you're going out of town and want to leave your baby with someone who would love them as my own, please consider me! I live in a cute little townhouse in Old Town Alexandria (the most densely dog populated city in America haha), with a fenced in front and backyard! There’s a great dog park a few blocks away and I love walking down to the river to read a book while the dogs play. I don’t have my own dog, so that I can have flexibility with my schedule, but I love having a dog in my place and watching and loving on other people’s babies helps me fill the void of not having one myself! This is our second time having Becky watch Frida. Frida just loves Becky and her backyard! Becky sends lots of updates and videos and treats Frida as if she’s her own. Frida is already looking forward to the next time she stays with her!
Becky was amazing! My dog, Crash, is disabled, so finding someone I trust is especially important. She was friendly, welcoming, and very communicative, and she sent lots of pictures and videos throughout his stay. It was clear that my pup was well cared for and loved. I highly recommend Becky and will definitely book with her again!

Schedule
I work from home 3 days a week and am in the office Tuesdays/Wednesdays from 9AM-5PM, I only work 15 minutes away so if your dog is young and needs a break in the middle of the day too, I can definitely accommodate that on my lunch break!

I live in a townhouse with a fenced in front yard and backyard, so the dogs can hang out front and say hi to everyone walking by with their dogs. Or alternatively hang in the back where they can run around and have privacy. I grew up treating dogs as one of the family, so when your dog is with me, that’s how I’ll treat them :)
A typical day
I grew up treating dogs as if they were human, we love to cuddle on the couch and in bed. Of course, if your dog is not allowed on furniture I'll be sure to adhere to that and not start any bad habits! I've grown up my entire life with having a dog and in our house, they are a part of the family. That's my style, treat them as if they're one of my own. However, if you have strict rules about certain areas of the home, furniture, snacks, etc. I will absolutely respect that!
