A Member of the Family
I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs for more than 35 years for neighbors, friends and family including special needs, vision impaired, in diapers, senior/older dogs, aggressive behaviors as well as big and small. I’ve cared for many breeds both in their homes as well as my home.

Schedule
I’m a professional musician and I work 1-3 nights/week so my schedule varies and is flexible when planned in advance. I can sit in your home or mine. I try to schedule around my part time work schedule. My retired husband is my dog sitting partner so we can accommodate most schedules.

Our home has a fenced backyard and a friendly mixed pointer and pug to keep your dog company. The dogs can enjoy the backyard frequently through the day, the back door is often kept open. During the night the dogs and are kept indoors from 12am-7:30am. Dogs can see on their own dog beds or even our sofas. We are a dog family and we’ve housed many dogs through the years. When caring for your dogs in your home, I try to maintain your routines as much as possible. I give lots of affection, petting frequently, brushing once a day. If owner prefers, I allow pets to sit with me, on me. I prefer not to sleep with them. However, if that is what they are accustomed to I am willing. Please warn me if they are loud snorers (like my husband lol)

A typical day
I love stimulating the dogs by taking them for a long walk in our neighborhood., We also have a dog park 10 minute drive for social interactions. At home, a variety of toys, tug-of-war toys and play time. Easy access to a lush green backyard and our dogs provide friendly companions.
