Your pet will enjoy a safe and comfortable environment equipped with quality amenities, including a selection of safe toys, pet furniture, and a crate for providing personal space when needed. Leashes and ceramic or stainless steel dishes will be provided based on your pet's preference. When preparing for your pup's stay, please send them with the following items: + A collar with current license and rabies vaccination tags (if your pet is microchipped, kindly share that information at the time of booking) + A harness, if used for walks + A favorite toy and/or treats + A blanket or a familiar item that carries your pet’s scent + Sufficient food to cover all meals during their stay Additionally, I would appreciate information regarding your pet’s typical schedule, any special needs, and any particular quirks or fears your pup may have. This information is invaluable for providing the best care possible. Thank you for considering me as your pet caregiver!
A typical day
Outdoor recess for our furry friends includes engaging activities such as fetch, leisurely walks, and plenty of opportunity for exploration. This typically occurs 1-2 times in the morning and 1-2 times in the afternoon. I reside near an elementary school playground and field, providing a vibrant atmosphere where dogs can watch lively activities. Our neighborhood is rich in intriguing scents and messages for your pups to discover, ensuring a stimulating and enjoyable experience for all.

As a current dog owner, I am excited to offer caring accommodation for your canine companions (up to 40 lbs) in my home. I am a proud dog mama to Zola Mae, a Pointer Mix born in 2020, and I genuinely look forward to welcoming and caring for your furry friend as well. With over 20 years of experience as a dog owner, I have developed a deep understanding of canine behavior and needs. In addition to my experience with dogs, I grew up caring for a variety of pets, including cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits and fish. I have successfully completed dog training with each of my pups, ensuring well-behaved and happy companions. I have successfully completed dog training with each of my pups and have experience caring for others' pets in both my home and theirs. I believe that every pet is unique, and I take the time to understand their individual personalities and needs. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy or a mellow senior, I tailor my approach to ensure they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for while you’re away. I look forward to the opportunity to provide a nurturing environment for your beloved pet!

I had a great experience with Becky watching my dog. She is friendly, down to earth and clearly loves getting to know both the dog and owner. I didn't request a lot of communication while my dog was staying with her but she still took time to send a few photos, video and a couple text updates on how he was doing with her. My dog was well cared for, had plenty of cuddle and play time, and seemed to really love being around Becky and her family, including her own dog. He was so happy and comfortable when it came time for pickup. It was a great comfort to know he was being looked after by a family that adores and accepts all the goofiness that comes with dog caretaking. I look forward to having her look after him again!
Becky and her family took wonderful care of our dog and was patient with dealing with her high energy. We would definitely use her again.
