Experienced & Loving Dog Handler
I have been actively working with dogs for the last 6 years and caring for them the last 20. I volunteer for Pets for Vets and the Humane Society. Experienced training challenging dogs (pitbulls, GSD, Boston Terriers...) and comfortable with all breeds. I enjoy taking dogs on hikes & adventures with me if appropriate for the dog. Walking clients can get hikes too, just ask me for details! I am an early 40’s female who is active, trustworthy and flexible to make sure your dog gets the best care. My home is quiet and comfortable with more dog toys than any one girl should have. Happy to send photos and updates to dog owners while their dog is in my care. I have one dog, Oshi, that I share with my boyfriend who is our pride and joy. She is an active Malinois I train for various dog sports and I am happy to help further your dog’s training during the stay or provide tips for you. My dog is typically kept separate from guest dogs for shorter stays in my home to reduce stress on her and guest dogs.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Becky is so awesome and the kids were bummed that it was just us coming in through the door. She taught our one doggy door scared son how to go thru the door and we are so appreciative! She kept us in the loop on all the happenings and we will be definitely be using her again. Becky was fantastic! I have a Shiba that has some quirks and Becky was more than patient navigating those things. Luna was well cared for and Becky was very responsive with updates and photos. We would love to have Becky stay with Luna again.
Had some issues with the booking but resolved easily between Becky & Rover!

I can't say enough great things about Becky. Our pup has some reactivity, and Becky was not only familiar with reactivity, she was great about carrying on with the training I had been doing with my dog. She stayed in our home for two weeks, and when we got home we could barely tell she had been there, in a good way. She was so clean, tidy, and respectful of everything in our home! Oh, and our pup was a big fan too. ;) She had picked up a few lessons from Becky while we were gone and still practices some of them today! Can't recommend her enough.

Schedule
I work from home and able to be flexible to meet your dogs needs. During house sitting I will need to leave for 4-6 hours on Saturdays to take my dog to training club. Your dog can come if that’s appropriate and they are comfortable riding in a crate in the car.

Highly trustworthy and competent human and dog handler. Just leave me a note and/or cover anything you need during the meet and greet and I will take care of it. Experienced with challenging dogs and familiar with all safety protocols in and outside the home.

A typical day
I only board one dog or dog siblings at a time so your pooch gets my full attention. Typically walk in city areas and to the parks very near my home. One-on-one fetch sessions in fenced areas, but no dog parks unless specifically requested. Due to nighttime accidents I am now only boarding dogs who are crate trained, if you have questions or would like to discuss an exception I am happy to chat. My home has a fenced and secure yard with room to roam and I typically leave the door open when I am home so your dog can go in and outdoors as they please. The household is quiet and calm.

- Before a stay, I like to know if there are any special things I can do to make sure your pup is as comfortable and happy as possible including favorite games, sleeping preferences and any dietary restrictions. I am also happy to learn what training you are working on so I can reinforce whatever rules you have. Comfortable with anxious or dog aggressive breeds, but please let me know any issues beforehand.
