I spent 250+ hrs volunteering at the Humane Society of Harrisburg in 2025: Dog walking, cat handling, adoption counseling, critter camp leader safely introducing kids to animals, etc. I’ve had pets my entire life and can’t imagine life without them. Overtime I’ve owned and help care for dogs, puppies, kittens, cats, a rabbit, fish and birds. I have experience with horses too.

I’d be happy to come walk/play with your pets or drop in to feed, cuddle with and/or clean up after them. Open to special requests based on you and your pets preferences and comfortability levels. I have experience with other animals as well (in addition to dogs & cats). If you would like to add on care for a bird or other type of pet, I can do so for an additional cost as long as it is discussed in advance. I require that anyone asking me to care for their dog(s) and all house-sitting clients be willing to schedule a meet and greet visit after sending the initial booking request. This is the easiest way to introduce me to your pets and ensure they are comfortable, go over all details (your pet’s routine, feeding instructions, where things can be found in/around the house and the best way to get in/out to care for your pet) and go over any other questions you may have for a successful visit. My 30 min drop in fee will apply for this, to help compensate for gas costs, and so that I can set aside enough time to go over everything in person without making you or your pets feel rushed. I offer house-sitting services as well, where I will come stay overnight at your house to provide care while you are away. I ask that you have a clean bedroom set up, preferably separate from your pet’s sleeping area, that is able to be closed/locked if requesting that I stay overnight. I also ask that all external doors/windows have working locks for security of myself and my belongings. Keep in mind, I will be coming and going from your house throughout the day to fulfill my other commitments but will ensure all of your pets needs are met and will spend time whenever possible for as long as possible. Once I have returned to your home for the night I will remain there through the night and into the morning.

Becky went above and beyond as always! She not only looked out for our cats, but also kept tabs on the house when we were out of the country. She is very communicative and gives excellent care. We’d definitely use Becky again for future drop-in visits!
Our dogs were SO happy to see Becky today! She has made such progress with our little hyperactive dog that no one else has ( and we took him for training with no luck). Becky kept them for a week while we were on vacation and we couldn’t have been happier with her pictures, communication and care for our dogs. Thank you, Becky!
Becky stayed with our two eccentric and very spoiled dogs for a week. We have never left them before and were very anxious! She sent pictures and texted every day! We couldn’t have been happier with her loving care of them. We will take another short trip in September and Becky will care for them. I can’t imagine anyone giving them more love and attention and going the extra mile to make them comfortable than Becky.
Becky is PHENOMENAL- can’t recommend her enough!

Schedule
I am currently working multiple part time jobs with plenty of flexibility to keeps your four-legged friends cared for. I volunteer at the Humane Society as well if you’re looking for any additions to the family. 👀

- I am open to spending time with any breed! Would be helpful to know the pet’s size, energy level, health status/restrictions/allergies, etc. If your pet gets anxious, please let me know of any triggers you know of in advance (loud noises, children, cars, etc) so I can help keep them as comfortable and safe as possible while in my care. Do they have favorite toy, treat, or walking route?
